Default Morgellons and Heat

Hi, I'm new to this forum. Been suffering from unexplained open sores on neck which have spread and become very ugly and painful and itchy. Skin doctor took cultures and told me I was "bordering on DOP" and wanted me to take Orap. He said if nothing else it might help with the itching. I refused. I know there's a parasite in my skin. He too (like so many others) refused to even examine the lesions. He took a perfunctory look with the naked eye (no additional light or anything) and told me to stop picking my skin. My family doc did seem very concerned and I told him "morgellons" is the name of this, he said he would research it. I asked for a protocol I have gotten off the internet: Ivermectin, Doxycyline, Diflucan. He actually gave it to me. I think because my skin just looks absolutely SCARY.
I have been spending HUNDREDS of dollars on "stuff": essential oils, nail polish (clear) to paint the lesions (deprive them of oxygen, my own idea, who knows?), acetone, bandaids, Vicks vapo rub, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, Ivy Dry, Cortisone cream, salt, ammonia, expensive tweezers (rather then the every day ones - these suckers hold on, like we all know!), Mangosteen, hair permanent solution (Carnicom), and many, many others too numerous to mention.
My foray tonight, aside from my nightly digging at my skin - (which does drive me crazy, but I absolutely can't stop, it itches and hurts so bad) - I broke down at the doctors office because he did listen, if that makes sense. Today I pulled a live one out (absolutely excruciating - I see stars and feel like I'm going to faint) - the "fiber" was attached to it, like sticking out of its body. It had a core, red (maybe the red ooze and my blood combined) - it was the complete package, if you will. The chuck of my skin which it was attached to and "feeding" from, the parasite itself (which I believe is a parasitic nematode), and the fiber sticking out of it , which was sticking out of my skin. I took it to the lab here and called my doctor's office and told the nurse "the doctor said if I got a sample to bring it to the lab - which wasn't true, but it got me what I needed, an order for an EXTO (parasite) examination. I am hopeful this will reveal the presence of the type of creature this is. I don't expect much else.
I realize this disease if multi-faceted, but am trying to deal with each issue one at a time.
Since I believe this is a nematode I started doing research on control of nematodes. Very interesting....
According to the websites nematodes are not affected, not killed, by insecticides. It says don't waste your money, you won't kill them. Of course they are talking about in the soil, but a nematode is a nematode.... so, one of the things they said DOES kill them is heat. So...
I went to the store and bought 2 things: A massage wand with "heat" and a pimple zapper that delivers a very precise area of heat to a "pimple" - it is supposed to make the pimple go away faster. Well, I tell you what, this pimple zapper, called Zeno mini just melts them suckers to smitherines. I keep it on there longer than you're supposed to (2 1/2 minutes is on the label), but I can actually feel the worms melting....I have gotten more relief tonight than I have for many months. This doesn't control the internal manifestations (but I do have Doxycycline to address the blood infection) - but I figure reducing the skin lesions will ease my suffering at least, and perhaps reduce the load my immune system is carrying.
This is a horrible affliction. My thoughts and prayers go out to all sufferers.

Thanks Sarotha and welcome to MDR,
Your Family Doctor is a rare breed. If only there was a few more like him about.
A genetically modified Nematode is one of the usual suspects.

Sarothra,

Thank you so much for such a wonderful post! I have always wondered how the Zeno would work for our type of ailment. I didn't want to invest $100 in something that would sit with all my other 'must have' contraptions. I feel confident now in purchasing one thanks to your evaluation.

Please let us know what you find out with you lab results. You're a brave woman. I took slides with samples in to my doctor appointment before and they wanted nothing to do with them. I hope you get some answers.

Take care!

Post newbie

Hello everyone, I am new to your boards. I have been lurking here for about a week now trying to learn all I can about this horrible condition that has come into my life. I wanted to write in this thread because I read the post about smoking and coffee etc. I have never smoked and I only drink one or two cups of coffee a day. I don't drinkl and never have, so that theory doesn't apply in my case.

I will try to find the introduction site and tell all of you about me.

I didn't see the site when I looked, but then I am not much of a computer genious. dizzy dame, that is me!

Aliester,
it could be that tobacco consume is a possible causative agent of Morgellons Disease. I've have noticed that too..many here are smokers..me included.

The Monsanto Group have tested Glyphosate on tobacco plants first (I've read that somewhere don't know at the moment where)

840.119eveloping Glyphosate Resistance in Tobacco Plants (Jaime and Hanna - OpenWetWare)

Roundup - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We all know Nicotine isn't the healthiest stuff LOL although there are a few assumed beneficials.

Nicotine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Smoking tobacco weakens the immune system and affects other body organs...there could be a "pattern".

I don't know about the kids though...that's why I think there are different
"ways" to be infected...but only ONE and ONLY CAUSE.

Pesticides and herbicides are all over and everywhere...kids play outside...

I have never been a smoker of any kind my entire life. I did receive second hand smoke as a child at I'm sure very concentrated levels, but I dismiss that entirely.

I believe it has to do with caffein and tobacco creating an acidic Ph in the blood, which invites any organisms to roost. Unless we have diets high in green vegetables and other alkaline foods, we are sitting ducks for disease of any kind.

I have never smoked, never drink coffee, and never drink alcohol.. I think morgellons is due to the polluted earth that we live in and a immune system surpressed by lyme and coninfections.

Morgellons is likely to be found in the earth and those that that love the outdoor and garden are most likely to be susceptable to this disease.
Also I believe we are more likely to be exposed to this disease because of disease if we live near a body of water such as a lake or stream. This is the case since insects love this type of habitat thrive here.

Hi Sarothra,
Welcome to the forum!

A while back, two different members at different times posted about using a hair dryer on the lesions.

hmm. That could be why?
