Just a quick hello to all my old friends and the new folks. It's been many years since I contracted this while working in a geriatric psych unit as a nurse in Hawaii. Environmentally Hawaii was loaded with these fibers BTW. (island of Oahu). Lots of genetically engineered crops there and ions worth of pesticides blowing with the dust from years of cane and pineapple cultivation.

Sold everything and retired to the Rep of Panama. Love it here. Morgellons is really not an issue for me anymore. Ionic Silver, noni, vits and cleaning my envoronment was what I relied on. Moving was helpful I'm sure.

Lots of joint pain now...don't know if it's my age of 64 or Morgellons. Still see the fibers BTW...just less.

Welcome Back anyway.I'm glad you have this under control.
There are so many Nurses with this disease it scares me.
Nursing and Teaching are the most common profession infected and I think that says it is very contagious.

Speaking of nurses,we have (really more my son and daughter-in-law)become friends with a family across the street and the lady is a nurse. Not to long ago she had this thing done like liposuction. Every place they went in her, she did not heal right. It looked like she had a flesh eatting disease. She's all scarred. She is trying to make a case of it. Like sue. I don't go around people to much, but can you imagine where MY mind has went about this. They also got a new dog and all of a sudden its got this rash,itchy skin condition. It just makes ya wonder.

It does make you wonder Claudia . A friend of mine has a brother who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and he is only 51.
His symptoms first began around the same time that I got Morgellons and he lives in the next street to me.
Don't suppose we will ever know for sure.

Hi Carla, everyone
Its just that my mind always goes to "Oh God did this happen because they were around ME". I could go on and on about people with skin problems (although I know morg's is not just skin) these days. Also odd health problems. Does anyone else notice this with people you come in contact with? Im always interested in peoples health stories these days. It seems people go to the dr. and there are never answers for them either. Drs. seem to just bandaid everything.
