Hello!

I am currently working toward my masters degree in nursing with the goal of working in the field of R/D and am especially interested in diseases caused by nanotechnology and genetically modified foods/consumer prodcts. I am currently writing a research paper on Morgellons and was hoping someone can direct me to a few websites where I am able to access the actual scientific data behind the Morgellons/nanotechnology disease. I have read many (including authors Jan Smith, Rense.com and the Staninger Report to name a few). I guess what I am asking for is perhaps some websites with detailed scientific data that may be "under the radar" so to speak. Many sites have great links attached but when I try to access them the links are no longer valid. Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist but it seems obvious that certain powers that be may have something to do with this (?). If anyone can direct me to any great research based sites with sources I will greatly appreciate your response. Thank you...... Bella

Hi Healing faith!

I've gathered some of the research:
Morgellons UK - Awareness Campaign 2009 - Morgellons Disease - Research

Here's some more:
LymeBusters - Research and Publications

Wishing you all the best with your studies.

Hello Bella! (Bella=GOOD)

It's wonderful that you are focusing on R/D....something the pharmaceutical industry has left so far behind.

I also very much like your conspiratorial thoughts, since my middle name these days seems to be Connie (short for conspiracies) Unfortunately, I don't even use that word when it comes to the 'powers that be'.

Best of luck and be very careful.

Thumbs down New to posting

Hello to fellow 'soldiers' and thank you so much for these last few good suggestions by all of you. I have been battling this disease for almost 2 years now and have off and on been too weak and sick to really participate in much of a discussion with the exception of an online friend who I kept in touch with via email. So I appreciate all the input on this site as it has kept me going at times. I have also hesitated to post because I was trying one thing after another without being able to say for sure if it helped me or that it would help others, so have wanted to wait and see what suggestions that I could make which had truly made a difference in my getting better. Another reason for not being able to post much is that I am battling this alone, as I was separated from my husband when this hit me. My two children are older. So I was amazed how much people were able to participate, since there were so many things to do to fight this, from environmental cleaning to taking daily care of your body—most routine daily tasks have become very hard to keep up with, much less being able to share and post experiences. But I would like to participate a bit here...

So far, my experience has been that it seems when you target and are successful in killing one part of this infection, it brings out another warrior that I have never seen before. Besides this observation, I wondering if anyone has had the following experience:

While I have sprayed the walls of my house with all sorts of essential oil mixtures, h202 etc, I still keep hearing loud popping and clicking noises at different times coming from what seems to be inside the walls, behind metal framed prints, inside kitchen and bathroom cabinets etc. I know this sounds like I might be hallucinating or whatever, but I assure you, I am not. I have never heard these kinds of noises before—and neither has my daughter-- even last winter when I was battling this illness then. There was just not as much environmental activity / noise going on and I didn’t really notice the fine silk like webs I am finding now either.

So perhaps the fungus part of the infection is attracting yet another type of insect that is indigenous to my part of the country [alexandria virginia]. I have heard a few other sufferers experience this too with people also saying that these noises are coming from inside computers, electronics etc.; while I don’t specifically hear it from these devices, I have had signs that some small appliances in my home have been invaded. My printer has been malfunctioning, my house phones, camera and other small appliances have failed to work properly and when cleaning them, I see this stuff inside –this infestation appears to have an affinity for metal and wires. I now clean all the new house phones after each use with several different antibacterial products at once.

But it is baffling me and disturbing to hear these noises--and just thought I would throw this post out to anyone who might have some thoughts on this…there are also noises coming from inside my metal medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Last night I heard the clicking noises from within there—I believe this stuff has actually settled behind there—and after hearing this I got annoyed and sprayed a peppermint oil mixture inside the cabinet and the stuff protested with a very loud POP. This is nuts and very creepy. Has anyone experienced these phenomena?

And aside from the bugs or whatever part of this infection is coming through my walls, I do believe this must also be coming from the water pipes...so for the last month I have been buying bottled water. While a shower filter has been a thought of mine and suggested here in these posts as well, I have in the past tried water filters to no avail--even a whole house water filter and at the time didn't know why these filters were brown and clogged up within a month...I just couldn't afford to keep buying these filters. So my observation is that this junk just seems to clog up the filter more quickly and then my fear is that you get a super exposure because it has built up within the filter. Don't really know what to do about this yet but perhaps a shower filter would be easier and more affordable to keep clean.

I just am so weary of trying things only to find that this organism has just found another way to affect you. This happened to me recently in while I thought I was gaining ground--at least my feet were showing signs of less fibers and bugs coming from them [was spraying essential oils, covering them with Glad Wrap—can actually do a commercial giving 101 ideas of how one can use Glad Wrap --LOL]. But then...it goes to my head instead, totally taking over my hair!! Now there is a thick film on my head and I ended up having to cut off as much of the infection as I could...it was really gross before I finally decided to cut it—much like soggy hollow strands, that would snap back in place when combing it wet. I guess it was totally void at that point of any Keratin whatsoever. My hair is now about 1 inch around my head and while it still feels like course wires--and looks like copper wires when dry, there is less crawling, tightness and soreness up there. Even so, this battle has been quite a challenge to manage but have found some things that are helping if anyone is interested. But as I said above, one protocol will be successful for a while, then the infection will find a way around it. This last invasion though has truly been devastating and more difficult to hide.

I am going to try the neem and col-san..but also feel it is important to boost your immune system while doing the other things to kill this beast. I have heard of a few other posters who have had good luck with neem too, but I also agree that all different aspects of this disease has to be attacked at once so thanks for all these good ideas.

Any thoughts would be welcome...

Hi Pdidit ,
Lots of us have said as soon as we treat one place succesfully they start on somewhere else.
Lots of us have heard the strange noises too. You just know your not imagining it don't you?
You wish you were but deep down you know its real.
I thnk it takes a few years to develop fully in the house. That may be why a few people believe they may have something different.
It probably depends on your immune system.
I think thats the key to improving and managing this.
Don't wear yourself out cleaning . It is more important that your well .
One good thing about being alone is you don't have to worry about infecting people as much and you can rest more.
Most food in the shops is very low in the basic minerals we need. Buy only natural potent vitamins and supplements .
If possible drink only filtered water ,balance your ph levels and avoid junk food and do a detox.
I think it wrecks electrical items in my house too, esp. the PC and printers.
Clean the filters on dishwashers and washing machines regulary and let them run through a hot cycle with just a cup of vinegar in.
I wish I could be more helpful but it is just trial and error until you find some thing that works for you .

Hi, Bella -
Bear in mind that not everyone believes that Morgellons is caused by nanotechnology (though that is my belief). Rense.com has lots of stuff.
The GMO theory is separate from the nanotechnology, and is actually a bit more popular, maybe because it is easier to wrap your mind around!
You should research Citovsky & Wymore for their contributions, and go to Morgellons.org as well.

Hi Carla,
Thanks for the advice...
I was wondering about the cleaning...I really don't have the energy to do it all at once. so by the time I finish one room, the next needs to be done. I would like to just drop cleaning so much, especially the clothes, but I get itchy if I don't go to great lengths. When seeing all this stuff in the house--that I have now learned to recognize by eye--it bugs me [sorry about the pun :>] and I figure it will do the same--infect me more if I leave it. My cat who is infected as well [just washed her and she expelled all different kinds of bugs that were definitely NOT on her pure white coat] , is a floor duster too, so I figure she will just keep getting it all over her more if I don't clean the floors often. But I wish I could be less of a slave to this house.

Do you think the cleaning helps that much? I just followed what others had suggested right in the beginning, however can't say that it hasn't stopped the progression in the walls or in my open grained floors.

thanks for your support XX

Hi Pdidit...

Do you have the itching, biting skin symptoms and can you see/feel fibers crawling through your skin? Have you posted your symptoms? sorry if I missed it. I'll check further meanwhile.

I don't clean fanatically. I think if you keep your body in an alkaline state whatever spores, fibers you inhale will not feel welcome. This is just my opinion and it has worked for me. I have an air purifier in my bedroom since there is less cross-ventilation there. I clean regularly but don't drive myself crazy.

If I go...I'll go in sanity.
