Hello Klossnet, Welcome to the forum. Not sure where the D/FW area is.
You asked about low body temperatures. I think it could be a problem for some who have morgellons. In my own case before I got morgellons I had very low body temps as taken under the arm and described by Dr. Barnes in his book as one way to determine that thyroid function was low. Certainly, for me, over time treating for hypothyroid disease has helped me and my body temperature today is much higher than it used to be. In fact, if I had not been on thryoid medication already, I think I would have been much sicker than the very sick I was when I first became ill with whatever this disease is. Unfortunately, sometimes thyroid tests do not indicate a problem to doctors. In my own case because my TSH at the time was considered normal I did not get thyrtreatment until I finally found a doctor willing to try thyroid medication.
I try not to listen to Rense because much of what is heard there is frightening and I do question how much of it is based on actual fact and science. Of course there are others who probably do not agree with me. I figure I do not want to waste energy on being frightened. I try to do all I can to get better and lately, with a doctor's help, I seem to be making additional progress in that direction. I also take a lot of herbs and some supplements.
If your first doctor does not work out you can always try another one. The mod, Carla, does have lists which can help in this sort of search. Infectious disease doctors may also be an avenue for you to look for help. If you do a Google search you should find a website or two which will help you locate this type of doctor.
I wish you luck at the doctor tomorrow. I think it is wise you are not taking in samples as it would probably be a problem for you if you do that.
