Default hi from Canada

hi from Canada. I found this community about 3 weeks ago and am much encouraged by the support, insights and great tips on how to live with and fight this disease.I'm pretty new to this disease. Just happened to find it on the internet and there it was. My symptoms. I was euphoric to know I wasn't the only one. The only alternatives I had considered were that I was delusional or demon possessed. At least now I feel like I'm getting the tools to fight this thing. Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Hi Shirley...I am really glad that you found us here...I remember the feeling...I didn't want to wish it on anyone, but it was sure a relief to know I wasn't the only one with this crazy stuff...I mean, the things you see are so bizarre that you wonder sometimes if it is possible...but it is definitely that...now getting someone else to believe you, that's another story...at least it is for me...Everyone is wonderful here, and has great ideas...Bubba has an amazing treatment plan, and if you will be sure to follow the baths at the least, you will find relief...we are all comfort for each other, because some of us have no one to talk to about any of this...some of us are fortunate to have some support at home, but most of us have been down that road to the doctors for help, and was sent home delusional...you know the deal, I am sure...If not, you are one of the fortunate ones...Bubba also has a list of doctors, if you tell her where you are...I am not sure about Canada, but she does for the U.S...anyway, glad to have you aboard...send a personal message if you need to, or just feel free to just post away and vent some...glad to know you....and have you as part of our support team...Franky has built an amazing web site, and we are truly blessed that he has put all the effort into helping his friend, because he is a good person, and in turn, helped many, many more of us here...God Bless You and I hope you will find a lot of useful information and a lot of friends here, too...Kentucky haze

thank you kentucky haze, I think one of the greatest feelings is to find a place where I don't have to try to get people to understand what this is like, or that I am not crazy.
I have been following some of Bubba's advice. It makes me feel like I have some control or at least something that I can do to fight this.

hi shirley. i too, know how you feel. two things to remember for encouragement. 1.we won't die 2. we can manage it. here are some other good things:3. we can help others like ourselves 4. dr. karjoo in california is studying this, not underfunded, and wishes to create a vaccine. 5. that if my carrier theory is correct, ones misdiagnosed with incurable diseases(but are carriers of morgellons) may be able to be helped, especially for the fatal ones. 6. with enough cries of protest raised, we can trample down the forces of beuracracy and ignorance. 7. we are not alone, nor are we the only ones. 8. posting on this board something helpful in the fight, no matter how trivial, can make the difference for others. 9. we are a family here, and together are putting the pieces of the puzzle together. 10. because of the love of franky for his friend, our butts are saved. 11. because of bubba, we have a cohesive plan to fight this 12. by pure accident, i stumbled on something to lessen the symtoms and keep a clear head 13. going through this may stink, but making us better people. 14. we have a great place to vent 15.we do not have to be victims anymore, but victors 16. we are here for you, and care

quote from bubba
I will tell you that from what I have read, you are NOT delusional and you are not demon possessed, you are a believer in God who has fallen victim to this terrible disease. Don't give up, I am living proof that you CAN get through this and get it under control. I had a big struggle... and through my struggle, I figured out how to defeat this enough to keep it at bay and get relief from the torment. Hopefully, you will also find relief. There were days when I wanted to give up so bad that I would literally yell at God. These were the days when He carried me[

Thank you so much for the encouraging words. I want to try every route so am going to a minister for prayer. But this time it will be more for healing than from deliverance.
I too believe that much can be accomplished through the struggle. Obviously we are benefiting from your determination and want to thank you for that. I now look forward to my nightly half to 1 hour soaks and use that time as a time of meditation and conversation with God, and every day I see times that I have been carried, times I've been challanged and clarification on certain things in my life. Yes, there is much I can learn in the struggle.

There is so much good advice in this welcome letter Lady Colorado, I think I shall have to print it out and put it on my fridge, and read it like a mantra, cause it is all soo, soo true. Thank you.

Thank you Linda for the welcome and encouragement. It's so weird, but I don't know any of you, but feel like I do. I too wish you luck in your healing journey.

I do not know a Canadian doctor, but I will snoop around a little. I do have a list of several Morg physicians that are in the northern states close to the Canadian border. Where are you in Canada?

Again, welcome. I am so glad you found us. I look forward to reading more of your posts. If you need anything, feel free to ask.

You WILL Win!
Sorry, I didn't answer this part of your response. I am in Winnipeg, Manitoba. About 60 kilometers from the North Dakota border. I think that's about 25 or 30 miles.
If you know anyone, sure would appreciate ishirley
