Default Where are the Doctor's

Hi! I am fairly new to the community and the internet thing so forgive me if I make mistakes. I am not new however to the horrors of this disease. I am sure my husband has it and has had for at least 4 years. I now am beginning to itch terribly but I have no lesions or any of the other symptoms. I pray my itching is some other problem since watching my husband suffer for so long.
Last Friday we went to his reg. doctor and I asked if he would consider emailing some of the doctors I have seen you guys talk about. He said he would! Soooo, could someone give me the emails, addresses, phone #, anything you have on doctors that are treating this disease? I would appreciate it so much. Thank you and everyone have a Happy New Year with our prayers being answered with a cure for this thing.

i cannot give you a referral but some advice seek an ialds doctor if can. stay away from dermatologists, they compose the biggest block of the naysayers. get ready for long wait like i am doing when find one.

Hi EVO9461,

I too am new here. I have intense itching at night only on my forearms, and no lesions since spring 2006. I have been to my family doctor and also a dermatologist with no help (surprise, surprise).
Thank God my husband and children don't show any symptons.

Andrea

Right now seeking help from doctors with the idea of having morgellons is very hard. Most are not very nice in accepting the possibility of morgs. I don't have morgellons but have Lyme disease and that comes with its own set of problems. From my understanding and reading there are quite a few doctors at all considering it at this point. You have to hang in there, things well get better. The CDC is supposed to get working on this early 2007.

I think maybe some others here will have some info on a doc or two on the net.

Thanks so much for all the replies. At Least I don't feel so alone out here. Our doctor tries to be sympathetic but looks at us as tho we've lost our minds. As I said in my first post, I just have this incredible itching, but my husband has had terrible lesions, crawling sensation, the works. He's tried every product he can get his hands on to stop it. I printed off the list from Morgellons Treatment and we will try that. I pray for some relief. Hope everyone's new year is going okay.
