Hi, and welcome to the MDR site. I hope you will find interesting suggestions here about people's experiences and ideas.
I am not sure whether my practitioner has ever used Bai Bu (stemona root) as in TCM herbs are put into formulas with other herbs and then cooked as a tea. The formulas match current symptoms in the individual patient. In general the Chinese do not use herbs singly (though there are a few exceptions). I will say my formulas have helped me greatly, but have not cured this problem totally. I would have become very sick without using a plethora of TCM formulas at the start of all this. My practitioner had me on teas and various capsules to treat the liver, kidney, spleen, lungs and heart. I often got flu like symptoms and then I was treated for flu. So it was never a static one herb treatment. Gradually I have improved and become better, though I do have outbreaks at times (less often though over time), usually during the Spleen time according to TCM.
I do not use Western drugs as I have allergies to most antibiotics and sulfa (the latter is probably in the two drugs you asked about, anything with a zole I watch out for).
I have used herbal dewormers when I feel sensations in my stomach. I have also used colon parasite cleanses. Dr. Natura was one--I did that for three months. I have used Raintree Nutrition herbs--they have formulas which treat fungal, parasite, and viral infections as well as others. I usually add them to my TCM herbal protocol to keep the body in some kind of balance. I just do not take them at the same time of day as my TCM herbs. I find switching what I do herbally helps and keeps the critters off balance. Often gets them to move on. And that lessens symptoms.
I personally feel that far infrared saunas and ozone help my symptoms (this is just my opinion, no proof). The person I go to uses the sauna first (this sauna has the patient's head out of the sauna cabinet) and then after that while still sweating (ozone absorbs more quickly) she turns on the ozone for a set period (I do not breath it in during treatment as it is blocked off from the head). So personally, as a person who also runs a low temp sometimes internally I feel that being too cold internally perpetuates the parasites which cause morgellons. In TCM the master where I have studied teaches that cancer loves a cold interior. I also use a lymph machine and at times a low level laser. I am using natural thyroid hormones as I am hypothyroid so this helps with the cold (mostly).
I have recently tried Wobenzyme-N between meals and feel it helps the inflammation caused by the morgellons parasites. I also use a digestive enzyme with meals.
Many here follow the Morgellons treatment steps from Bubba and find a lot of relief.

I mostly used herbs with the help of a TCM practitioner and was treated more internally and not so much externally as I felt it was basically an internal not external problem. As with all things relating to Morgellons treatment so far I think results vary with whatever is tried. I think what is used is a trial and error for your body situation. No one size fits all IMHO, because what it is so far remains a black hole. When it comes to morgellons all gloves are off.
I think the most important medicine is trying to stay as positive as possible and not to become fearful. If religious at all (I am) I do think it helps to pray for others as well as self and stay connected. There will be down days. But others will make you smile and laugh. Staying in the moment helps as the future will take care of itself. Worry seldom helps--not that I always follow my own thoughts, but I try. Otherwise I would become depressed.
best,
