| For the last 2 years we've been having problems with my mother, she not only has fibers but is infested with common bugs such as booklice, collembola, and fungus beetles. We've tried a variety of things to get rid of them..ie. tea tree, peppermint, and euc. oils, lysol spray, salt and peroxide baths, drying her dry hair with blow dryer, keeping the humidity down to a minimum, goldbond, vaseline, dog shampoos, denorex, porters salve(the smell from this should kill anything,YUK!),vit C.and salt, rosemary, pest strips, enzyme cleaners, RID(which made things worse) etc. Penn State Med. Hospital diagnosed her with lice-LOL-cause that's the only thing she didn't have. Has anyone else had problems with these insects and found anything to get rid of them? Or do you have any suggestions? We would trying almost anything at this point! Her fibers are also morphing. First they were the typical red, black, and clear. Now we're getting an occassional green and objects that are larger, brown and clear that look like an octapus with lots of easily identifiable arm like projections. She's getting metal like round silver in color flakes off of her skin, along with purple gell like substance. I'm an LPN my sister is a RN, and by no means suffering from DOP. The things coming off of mom are no delusion, unfortunately they are a reality..any help or suggestions is very appreciated..thanks

| Hi susie! welcome home, you belong here, unfortunately. many of us are beginning to believe that Morgellons can infect certain common insects as well, causing THEM to infest humans in very atypical manners. One of the first things I can recommend to you is that you go to the section under Morgellons Treatments and download Bubba's Treatment Steps, and try to begin to follow them the best that you can with your Mother. You can begin with very simple to obtain ordinary ingredients while you are waiting for the more expensive (BUT VERY EFFECTIVE!) exotic ingredients to arrive by mail order. The other addition I would recommend is that these insects seem to respond to vaporized Menthol treatments. MENTHOL CRYSTALS They can be placed in small sachets that can be left anywhere you feel things getting itchy. They can be kept under your pillows, and placed next to your face when symptoms become worse. Menthol is anti-fungal and antibacterial, and seems to absolutely destroy these "altered" type of insects. A small electrical diffuser that simply heats oils can be used to stop all activity in a room. It is observed that three days of diffusing crystals in a room makes it inhabitable for even those who are the most sensitive to the environment. This works especially well around electrical equipment like computers. It can completely debug the area. A pound of crystals purchase makes the best use of your money, if you are going to make the sachets and use the diffuser. The crystals may vary in size but use the smaller size for the steel dish. It was observed that no other aromatic oils worked as well as the menthol for stopping the itching. For three days of cleansing a room, fill the dish with crystals and the let it run out, three days in a row. Menthol crystals: http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/supply/ingred.php (scroll down) electric oil diffusers: http://www.thescentwizard.com/category_s/344.htm The best line of attack is first a heavy dose of menthol. Use the crystals and an electric diffuser/burner. Do every room that you spend time in, for at least 3 days. (maybe get multiple burners?) Then it is clean-up time. Gear up for a HUGE SPRING cleaning. Get out the vacuum with hose attachment and your orange citrus cleaner, or oxy-palmolive dish soap, and some heavy rubber gloves, and face mask. Move everything that hasn't been moved in months, especially clean through EVERY kitchen cupboard, wash everything in every cupboard with an oxy-soap, or good citrus dish soap, before you put it back into your CLEAN cupboard. Go behind pictures on the wall, curtains, anything that is tight up against something else and normally isn't moved for cleaning. Vacuum ceiling & light fixtures and lampshades for "cobwebs." Anything you can't clean right now, assume it "has bugs." Bag it and put it out in the garage, or an OUTside storage area. Please remember, THESE are "MAGIC MORGELLON BUGS" I don't know HOW they do it, but I have found that they are completely capable of penetrating plastic bags, Tupperware (maybe the seals weren't perfect??) surviving diatomatious earth, and borax... So they often act more like the fiber beasts, than just like simple insects--go figure. Well, some people thought that the fiber beasts were nematodes, too. They sure LOOK & act Like nematodes, a little. Same as these--only they are MORGIES Oh yes--they also like house plants. You may want to inspect your plants very carefully, and just throw out any that look possibly infested. They love corn meal & sugared teas, or sugar plus flour mixes--so inspect ANY box mixes that fit those categories, because they will infiltrate those sorts of things, even in plastic containers, they JUST LOVE THEM, and a cardboard box & bag is nothing to them, USUALLY. Well, Susie, best of luck with Your healing journey, look around, I am sure that you will find LOTS of good advice here.

| hi, thanks for the advice, menthol is one of the few things we haven't tried. we found out today that my mother is meeting with a group of dermotologists in Penn State on May 3. They specifically gather to tackle difficult cases from what i understand. maybe...just maybe...one of those doctors will take a serious interest. life sure has changed since morgellons symptoms took over our lives. i want to express my thanks to all of you. this web site is overflowing with wonderful ideas and suggestions. in the worst of times it's amazing how a total group of strangers can be so supportive of one another. Thanks again...I'm going to go kick some bug butt!

| Hi, i hope all goes well with the appointment. Let us know. I wanted to mention that there is a group on yahoo groups called "body bugs", and there is a person there from florida who has put a recipe of esential oils that help in the enviorment. I havent tried it yet, but bought the new electric menthol disfuser with pads for about $13 at walmart. I was surprised at the suggestion to use club soda for the windows....and i tried that last night...and i think it works! I also put a tissue soaked in club soda on my arm sore and watched it under my pro-scope tv, wand microscope 200x. The club soda opened up the scab and some fibers and specks bubbled out. I have been getting lesions out with baking soda, my reports on the body bug site are under the name daisy. Ps...the lady named trish on that group has been on tv in florida with two couples dealing with body bugs...have you seen that video? |
