Is Image Neurosis a symptom of Lyme/Morgellons Disease? It would explain alot here.

"......Disordered characters have problems with self-image too, but their problems most often arise from an inflated sense of self-worth. As some researchers have commented, they tend to be “legends in their own mind.” They see themselves as superior to others, which in turn leads to a sense of entitlement to use and exploit others as they see fit...."

I don't think this forum has meant to be a playground...
Let's get back to serious topics, ok?

It is rather obvious you are projecting onto others what is most likely going on with you yourself. This is often the case with those who decide they know enough about psychology to place a diagnosis on other people without even knowing them. Even a clinical psychologist would not label a person with such a serious diagnosis without know the person for a time and doing extensive testing of him.

I do not call you names, especially such derogatory ones, on the internet. This is one of the most basic forum rules of good manners.

It is obvious that you do not believe that others who hold different opinions are allowed to say anything which disagrees with your views. Sorry, but this is what democracy is all about--so far anyway. It is the discussion of ideas which are opposite which often brings about what in psychology is called cognizant dissonance. This expression of differing viewpoints often brings people closer together in their views over time. In this case it appears that is not even a hope, but at least an attempt should be made not to call another person a name simply because we do not like their viewpoint.

It would be good if this thread could return to the topics it is discussing, but obviously this is proving, so far, to be rather impossible.

Personally I am not convinced that the fungus just attacks trees and plants.I don't care what the Govt say. They would hardly make it public if it did attack humans/animals they would not withstand the flak they would get and believe me they have enough on their plate at the mo without getting the public here in hysterical mode.
I saw a pic of this fungus and it looks the same as is on a tree of mine.Where all the fungus gnats gather too.I am covered in the black specks if I go near it,the same specks that sink through the skin of my hands.I think maybe something has changed in it to attack humans or it was altered in some way.Who knows.
Whatever this fungus is here tcm believe me it is on the rampage. It is said if its not tackled it will be in every back garden in the next 20yrs.The way this moves I'd say its gonna take about 20 months.

I am sure you a good point Pat, that the fungus you see may be a human/plant fungus which could have been altered in some way. If so I believe it would change the original fungus itself causing it to be reclassified, perhaps as one of the few known types which attack man and plant. It is also possible that because fungus is a problem in the garden that another type of fungus has been able to attack humans opportunistically. Such as if the only type of produce available to eat has some fungus on it, this fungus could create toxicity in the humans and animals who have to eat it thereby lowering the immune system and making it open to attack by all sorts of viruses, bacteria and fungi. This sort of toxicity was discussed in a reference for an earlier post in the thread.

I didn't start reading this thread till today, so I skimmed some of it.
However some things jump out at me. The first is the comment made about "people turning into plants" (I'm paraphrasing). That hypothesis was actually made by Dr. Stricker (that is unimportant) based on the findings made by Citovsky that agrobacteria infects Morgellons victims but not "normal controls".
I think that point is an extremely important one, Katinka. It is PROOF that at least one plant pathogen infects humans.
We know that other things, like collembola (springtails) are commonly found on/in people who have Morgellons. Springtails are cryptozoa frequently found in leaf litter and other decaying material.
The problem is how to interpret what this means.
I am not sure that "we" are being turned into plants by agrobacteria. I think something else is fundamentally altering Morgellons victims, the "engine" on the Morgellons train. I believe that it is nanotechnology.
In this construct, nanotechnology is the first contact. In keeping with Dr. Staninger's findings, the initial "cocktail" contains dna plasmids from all kinds of foreign life forms, including plant. Once the body's own machinery (dna) is overtaken, then transformations begin to occur.
Then the train goes through the stations, picking up "passengers" that are being attracted to the transformed aspects of the body (plant, insect, etc).
In this scenario, the plant fungus, collembola, agrobacteria, etc, infect the body.
Going back to Stricker's observation. the difference here is that the agrobacteria are attracted BECAUSE of the plant part of Morgellons victims, and not the cause of Morgellons. Unfortunately, agrobacteria also has the capacity to further transform through lateral gene transfer. These changes then become part of the recognizable Morgellons syndrome.
What makes this theory highly plausible is that it can account for the wide range of structures and symptoms found in Morgellons victims. Some things that are found are plant-associated, like cellulose, many are insect-like (until these insects have had dna analysis then conclusions as to their true identity cannot be made), and then there is the plastic/silicon/silicone component. This third part is not speculative. I have had extremely high levels of silicon measured in my blood by lab analysis (Quest). How are these strange things being "built" in the human body? The fibers are still 100% unmatched to any known natural or synthetic textile (that's the Wymore/FBI piece).
I truly understand why the vast majority of people who have Morgellons (or believers) can't accept that an advanced manmade technology is responsible for this horror. I kinda wish I didn't believe it, either.

The earth is warming up and it is mankinds fault. It will kill you.
I could go on for hours.
Of course Sick plants can make people sick.
Just like sick people can make plants sick.
Anything is possible in the wonderful world of the morgellons.

TCM.. It wasn't my intention to call ANYBODY names here. These are facts that's all. If you think everything written down at this forum regards to you that's your problem. NOBODY IS HUNTING YOU HERE!

In fact this kind of diagnosis was 1. Grade Psychology at my college. The way people react under certain circumstances says everything. There is NO NEED
to know this person personally. Just think.. do Criminal-Psychologists so called Profiler KNOW who the delinquent is? All they need is a handwriting or a common reaction to figure out with what or whom they are dealing with.

What you say leads this to AD ABSURDUM.

Usually such reactions are COMMON TO MEN..If you need help on research with this too, just ask me.
