Post Report of Asian Citrus Psyllids infecting human

This report was posted earlier this month. I've copied the account given as its hard to read on linked page. Psyllids are jumping plant lice.

Interesting stuff.

ASIAN CITRUS PSYLLID INSECT IN CALIFORNIA INFECTS HUMANS despite the CDFA's official letter - iReport.com

"I am 38 and have Asperger's Syndrome and desperately need help with this report.

I live in Silver lake (Los Angeles) and I am 100% certain, THE (ACP) Asian Citrus Psillid insect/pest recently discovered on Citrus Trees IN CALIFORNIA- including the Los Angeles area CAN INFECT and INFEST IN HUMANS AND ANIMALS (PETS) (via ACCIENTAL CONTACT OR INGESTATION OF its larvae- IT is similar to a Myiasis infestation) and causing serious bacterial infections, MRSA AND SEPTICMIA and potentially Fatal complications.

I have a citrus tree and found it infected with the (ACP) insect and ITS larvae. Pictures were provided in a Department of Food & Agricultural OFFICIAL letters to us in the area Asking if we have seen the ACP and STATES THE ACP poses NO harm to humans!

I without a doubt, believe have been infected and my health is failing. I am experiencing serious health problems, I have found same insect AND LARVAE (USING THE SEVERAL PICTURES THE CDFA included in the letters) on my tree AND the same worm-like LARVAE on MY LESIONS WHICH AREN'T HEALING AND ARE SPREADING)

I SUDDENLY developed MRSA. MY HEALTH PROVIDER - DID NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH ME, BUT DISMISSED ME WITH A DILUSIONAL DISORDER! I GOT A SECOND OPINION AT A DIFFERENT HOSPITAL AND IN FACT DEVELOPED MRSA, YET THE DAY BEFORE, MY HEALTH PROVIDER RELEASED ME STATING I WAS FINE, NOTHING was WRONG WITH ME. MY DISCHARGE PAPER DIAGNOSED ME WITH DILUSIONAL DISORDER. THIS INSECT IS A SERIOUS THREAT AND WE ARE NOT BEING TOLD THE TRUTH. I AM ALONE AND AM GETTING WORSE BY THE DAY. I NEED HELP AND AM REFUSED SERIOUS AND ADEQUATE TREATMENT BY MY HEALTH PROVIDER.

I AM LOSING SENSATION ON LEGS AND ARMS AND HAVE MRSA! THERE MAY BE MANY MORE HERE AND ARE NOT TREATED OR DISMISSING IT AS A RASH/ALLERGY. PLEASE BELIEVE ME AND ASK,I CAN NOT DO THIS ON MY OWN."

Yeh I did Kritzy.

How come I've become fly investigator? why couldnt it be fluffy toy investigator?...sounds alot nicer to read about.

"The citizens of the East San Diego County town of Jacumba have formed an organization called “Jacumba Against Gnats” (JAG) to address a serious public health and safety issue........"

http://jacumbaagainstgnats.org/

News report released 10th oct 09:

"JACUMBA — County Supervisor Dianne Jacob has urged officials to consider declaring the millions of gnats in Jacumba a public nuisance, which would give a higher priority to killing the pinhead-size pests"

Options for tackling nagging gnats explored - SignOnSanDiego.com

Hey Joey~

Notice this sentence? "....Jacob wants county officials to look at a variety of options to get rid of the eye gnats, including shutting down the organic spinach farm blamed for the insects....."

Why does this raise a red flag for me? (Kritters mused...)

lover ya,

My citrus fruit trees have little white pin prick size dots and fibers all over them. I put grapefruit in a metal collander and left them on the back porch until I was ready to wash them. When I brought them in the sunlight was on them and the fibers were all around the rim of the collander.
Just like the single fibers I find on me sometimes.

You're hatching already? You're an early worm... lol There's still snow on the ground here, hopefully, I won't be hatching until a little later.

I hear you Jo,

Today I was pumping gas and watched as one crawled in and out around part of the gas pump I was pumping gas from. I thought do they like gasoline too! It was beyond bizarre! I live in Southern California so probably not too early for them here.
