Not that I believe or disbelieve this story, but there are many websites such as that other "morgellons" site (Morgellons watch......the name actually gives it away) specifically existing to discredit any ideas, thoughts, remedies, theories, stories which are a threat to mainstream medicine, which keeps the big pharma and its stock holders rich off by living off its host....people. One such site is Quackwatch. Has anyone actually investigated THEM? Another is CSI (Center for Science in the Public Interest) anyone having some free time can google them as I had (when I had free time) and among other things, their address is conspicuously close to the White House. Funny how there are so many quack police but yet aspartame, dangerous drugs, microwaves, etc. still on the market.

It takes people like us who may or may not have been motivated to look a tad deeper into the reality of it all and spread the word to wake these people up to the truth. The average person is content to just sit back and let big pharma, their doctor and quack police decide what is truth or isn't.

Funny I was not posting it for that reason but ok. Spiders are preditory why would they try to exist on ear wax. Believe what you want to believe I just found it interesting. I was actually trying to find out what kind of spider or spiders they were. I was merely pointing out that the media at times can hype things up to get a story. By no means do I believe any one source of information. Morgellons Watch well lets just say he has issues it is obvious to anyone that reads his responses. It is not even worth mentioning. I did a key word search I did not intentionally go to this site. Honestly I have never heard of it before. So I am sorry if I offended anyone by posting this . Geeze...

Cindy.

You did not offend me. Perhaps I should begin and end my posts with a statement which reads that when I post a thought it is not intended to pass judgement on someone else's post unless I explicitly state such from the beginning.

I'll try to be more careful in the future when a post triggers my thoughts and are not intended as a personal affront, but merely to add information.

And for the record, any thing is possible. the spiders may have in fact lived in the ear and could very well have obtained other nutrients besides earwax.

All I know Cindy, is that the thought of spiders in a child's ear spiders in the ear make me . Things that make you go BLUH . I have NEVER liked spiders at ALL, it is possible shed exo-skeloton in there with only a lone spider. Any spiders at all well, YUCK . When I had posted on not so nice a problem, was strange indeed the worm family in my spine, I awoke the next morning to a fright. I had a hot compress with Absorbine Jr, which contains wormwood a poison, and guess what I found? A dead spider at the wound site where this worm family lived. EWWW! (LC).

No, thought this thread was interesting. Kritters, never do you offend me either. You inspired me to do the disclaimer to protect M-D-R and myself, THANKS (LC). Poor wimpy LadyColorado is just skeered of spiders.

Honestly don't worry about it. Maybe i am a little gun shy now that anytime I post something it is assumed I support something that I do not support. I merely found it interesting that if true and it was just the shedding of one spider which honestly would make more sense because I do not think spiders typically hang out together very long. They mate and move on or like the black widow something completely different. I was making light of how the media might have been trying to build the story up before knowing all the facks 100%. I live in California and I will tell you the news channels here it is all about hype. If we have a earth quake it will be on the news non stop for a week even if no real damage occured. The fires well even the people affected by them were becoming annoyed by our news crews. Maybe it is a hollywood thing out here I don't know but they love a story. That was all I was thinking. I was actually trying to figure out what kind of spider it was. Does anyone know?

Anyway my friends,

Speaking of spiders...........I now have two spiders in plastic bags suffocating and will have to wait until Darth Kritters makes the time and figures out who to send them to in order to find out just what kind of spiders they are.

One was crawling between my bed blankets last month or so (I stuck that sucker in a zip bag and squirted some nasty ammonia into it before zipping) and the other I saw while in the bathroom. I looked at the floor, as I have grown so uncomfortably accustomed to doing now out of gruesome habit in anticipation of a fungoloid. I had just washed the floor an hour before and glanced upon it rather annoyed and in equal realization it was something I should check out.

I picked it up and it was a wee little bitty spider. actually looked like a tick embryo, but how many spiders do I gaze upon in a day to know? I mean....this obsession with critters is rather new to me after all. Nonetheless, I plucked it and it's now in ziplock confinement until the Kritter sez otherwise.

But who to take it to for identification? Why is life not more simplistic, I wonder?

Kritts
