Default Eggs and Morgellon's

From time to time someone mentions that eggs are especially good nutrition for us but I've never seen an explanation. One person even said she's eating them daily. What is it about eggs that makes them so good for us that overcomes the cholesterol objections? Not to mention the fact that they're really constipating.

I love eggs and would love having a healthy excuse to eat more.

Protein, in which it would seem a great many of us become unable to process carbs and fatty acids, and so the body uses protein to generate energy. I have heard from many that when they came down with this, their protein requirements hit the roof.

Now doing methylation, my need for protein has leveled out, and the avidin in the egg whites I cannot tolerate anymore. ....thought it was an intersting aside.

The safest eggs for us is organic, cage free and cooked thru. No runny yolks. I have mine with Emerils seasoning with 2 pieces of gluten/wheat free bread every am!!

Thanks, all. Just got back from the grocery store and bought an actual full-sized carton of organic, free-range brown eggs. I'm so excited! Hard boiled eggs make a great quick breakfast on work days and come in their own neat little packaging for toting.

I love eggs Esp. poached and layed over a slab of heavily buttered toast. I made some like that for an old girlfriend once. She got all dreamy looking in the eyes. She had never had a poached egg before. I still miss her.

soji I,ve bought organic eggs only once, they had a very deep orange color of the yolk. The taste was certianly richer. I wish I had my own land and could raise laying hens. Maybe a couple of goats to clear the woods to.
You can take old men out of the country but you can,t take the country out of men.
Just being silly.
