Savlon Advanced healing gel

Hi I've started to use Savlon Advanced Healing Gel & have noticed a vast difference in healing of sores, I had some huge bumps come up, they were like sebacous cysts, but could'nt face going to Doctors, I put dollops of the gel & stuck plasters on (not waterproof) & they have gone down significally. Also this gel gets rid of the hardened skin that develops when you have had this disease for years, it semms to heal callassed skin & heals wets sores, I buy about 5 tubes a week as I'm covered (whole body) in these rotten sores, but can truly recommend this, its worth a.try at around £3.99 for 50gr tube, proberbly cheaper at Superdrug, Wilkinsons, Wallmart...Spots...

Hi Spots,

Good to see you back and making some interesting suggestions too. I cannot find this gel on a US site so far. If anyone comes across a site or even one in Canada I hope s/he will post it on this site. I see that this gel treats dry sores too which I expect accounts for why it would help the thickened skin that Spots mentions.

It's manufactured in the UK but owned by Johnson & Johnson. I wonder if it might be the same as neosporin cream / gel in the US?

I thought I'd done the link but I dont think os worked sorry, I found a woderful site with allsorts of tips, I'm going to buy Aspirin tomorrow & do the treatment they reckon takes calloused skin away. the site is E How & the article is How to remove calloused skin with aspirin, afraid my trying to link has'nt worked, I'm going by instruction Kritts gave me a couple of years ago, but it has'nt worked, I won't give up Spots...

Your link will work if you go back and edit your post, adding the missing "h" before the two "t"s in your link. It's easy to omit a letter when you are copying and pasting a link. I do that one all the time. Anyway, adding the missing h should allow your link to work just fine.
