Smoked and salted meat such as pork is a 'big thing' in Germany. Many people eat that, BUT caution needs to be taken as over consumption is to be carcinogenic.

This is very enlightening. I heard of the added preservatives in lunch meats and I was not happy. This is very true.I am wondering if there is meat that is safe to eat?
Should we be only Vegans?

Vegans get m in numbers in my recollection. Stick with protein, low carbs, no sugar and be careful with your water !! I truly believe that pets play a great role in this illness, that's a tough one. After 15 months I would give my dog away if I could but it would be the ultimate destruction of my family.

My groomer pleaded with me today to help her, I don't know what else I can do! She has cost me a tremendous amount of money not to mention stress.
She has been to some of the best Vets in the USA. I love her but we are reinfecting each other every day, there has to be some agrobacterium involved here! When she's out, it's worse and fall seems to be the worst time for us both. Harvest moon? Who knows?

I just know that this sucks and I am sick of it and with it.

I definitely think people need to get enough protein. Especially if your dealing with an ailment that destroys muscle tissue (as some have reported). You can eat all the greenery you would, you still can't beat good ole meat as source of protein. Perhaps staying away from swine and processed lunch meats is a smart choice, but a properly cooked chicken breast (free range) wouldn't hurt.

(lol Free range chickens. Makes me think of Bill Engvall's skit).

I eat organic chicken and eggs. That's it for meat. Stopped eating fish cuz of mercury. It's in all fish now. The smaller fish have less mercury accumulation. Keep the small fish, throw back the big ones LOL...

You can also buy protein tablets at the health food store.

This it would seem is the beef going to feed US school kids.Enough to make anyone vegetarian. Obviously no one heeded the warnings after what happened in UK with the mad cow disease.
THIS IS GRAPHIC click on the video at the bottom of the page to see sick cows being put through as 'fit for slaughter' and going into the food chain irrespective of whatever disease they are suffering from.
