| Falafel is easy to make if you use canned chickpeas and a blender to mush up the mixture. Not many ingredients in it. I like to make mine with garlic, but onion is good too. If the mixture is too thin to shape, you can a add a tiny bit of flour or a small amount of fine bread crumbs. Some like to thinly coat the patties or balls with flour before frying: Easy Hunger-Fix Falafel Burgers Recipe It is wonderful served with yogurt cucumber sauce (tzatziki). Some places add chopped mint or parsley as well to the sauce. Tzatziki - Yogurt Cucumber Garlic Dip Recipe - Quick and Easy Traditional Tzatziki - Tsatsiki Greek Food

| HEY JO, i found falafel in one of the health food shops ,it is the same as u were suggesting the same box , it was 1,29 pence - it is all with natural ingredients without flour etc, omg it is very tasty - I made it myself second time adding whole loads of garlic, parsley and cilantro as they adviced on some you tube chanels - by the way I do not think is good idea to use anything canned , flour etc - what I like about it is that u can always create diff. taste by adding diff spices etc or diff veggies to it - amazing and yes I love iT SO TY JO YOU ROCK ![]() |

| I am not crazy about canned foods myself, but some members feel too sick to cook much so that might be the only easy option if no dried falafel mix is at hand. In the US some of the organic food companies can beans more carefully in specially lined cans (tins) so the metals will not leach into the food. Feta cheese, tahini, greek olives and the tzatziki are all wonderful toppings for this food. Quote:

| Hi Danzo, Your spleen and pancreas effect how you feel about food. When function is good your appetite will be normal, but this disease effects spleen/pancreas function from what I have seen other reporting about appetite and other issues, including what you just posted here. Some of the bloating in the middle area of the body may be coming from that. Essentially the body is unable to process the water it needs to function correctly. So some of it backs up in the body causing symptoms such as you describe. The organs effecting this bloating probably vary from person to person, but I suspect many of us have deficient spleen and kidney function as well as a liver which is stagnant (blood flow is too slow). I figure whatever we can handle as far as food is what we have to do. People can tell us we need to improve diet, we should do this or that, but ultimately it all boils down to what we can handle on those days we don't feel tip top. Ditto on food sources as not all can afford organics or even fresh food (depending on where we live). My motto is to just do the best I can on any given day. I figure that's about all any of us can probably do. Hold on though, I think Jean Long may over time give us some clues about eating and fixing foods which may help alleviate some Morg symptoms. At one point she mentioned something about a spicy soup with herbs in it, so over time we may hear more.
