| Carla, You're making an assumption. I don't eat processed foods. I don't eat sugar, I eat all organic food, I don't eat red meat, .........etc. If you think the people here will be healthy in spite of the fact that they have Lyme and Morgellons if they just cut out the crap....that's your opinion. But I don't eat crap and I am not fine. I'm not fine because I had Lyme before it was diagnosed, along with other accompanying illnesses. Too late for healing only with just alkaline. Although it's necessary to get by, other things are involved.... And that's just my opinion. |

Who said anything about red meat ? The Government ?It is white meat that is really bad for us. Anyway it isn't the colour of the meat but the way it is reared. Do you know that they vaccinate all livestock since the mad cow scare? The hormones and vaccines are being consumed by us too. I thought you liked a glass of wine every now and again. Do you only drink your own home brew or do you go to the store and buy a bottle of mass produced processed wine? I think the attitude is the most important thing anyway .You have to be at peace with yourself and everyone around you . Thats why I suggested meditation. |

| Thanks for your suggestion about meditation, but again, you are making assumptions. If you want to meditate, by all means....however, I am quite at peace with myself. First of all, Carls, I'm really surprised you are preaching to the choir here. I thought from my past posts, you would have a clue about the fact that I am very aware about what to eat and not eat. You say, "who said anything about red meat? the gov't? Are you suggesting I go by what the gov't tells us? Then you go on to say it's not the color of the meat. (well, no chit!) White meat is swine, red meat is cow. I eat no cow or pig and any chicken I eat is organic. A glass of wine on occasion? you bet! ORGANIC red wine. Quite good stuff. You can't have an overly alkaline diet, Carla....the body needs some acid. If I choose to get mind through an occasional glass of red organic wine, I think it's okay. If you think it's possible in this world to avoid any kind of toxins, you're living in a dream world. This thread is about alkaline and acid. Of course you heal the body through nutrition. That's a given. Without proper nutrition the body has little chance of staying healthy. Then it becomes acidic and that's when disease is allowed into the body. However, even the healthiest person can get mad cow disease, or a parasite invasion, or a fungal invasion. All the good food and meditation might not be enough to overcome the acid bestowed upon us by our environment. There are other factors which come into play as well, including genetics. Inherited diseases through DNA. While keeping a healthy diet and staying mostly alkaline, it's possible to fight these diseases somewhat. It's just not as simple as being able to stay healthy by avoiding processed foods and meditating. Lyme disease and Morgellons disease do not just go away without extreme measures in most cases. Are you eating organic food only? Last I recall you were telling us how you used numerous tsps of sugar in your coffee. so, have you changed your diet? Are you 100% better now? If so, I'm very happy for you. Kritters Last edited by Kritters; August 27th, 2009 at 09:43 PM. |

| Forgive me for this comment Kritty but I can't recall you ever saying you eat raw foods. I can't say that I'm 100% better yet but I've been cleaning my house since 9.30 am and I'm spending 30 minutes on line before I go into Town for some bits I need . Sorry I don't mean to bug you . ![]() |

You're not bugging me Carls..(well, maybe a little ) I just hate to see serious illnesses minimized to being the result of someone not eating right, you know? Still lover ya, though! xoxoKritts ![]() |
