Default Food

Now that I am eating just about everything, I am feeling so much stronger and better in general. I do have some increased itching, depending upon what I eat, but nothing that is debilitating or acute. It appears that I am tolerating almost everything. Still trying to stay away from things like white potatoes, sweets, sugar, white rice, etc. Lots of quinoa, organic whole grains, sweet potatoes.

Diet really does matter. My brain is functioning better with the added protein as well...

Default aspirin - anti-inflammatories

That brings up a question that I've been meaning to ask. What about NSAIDs? Are there any that people take that are more effective? Has anyone had acute, adverse reactions to any?

I haven't taken any since the onset of my M symptoms, but wondered as I have had the occasional headache/muscle ache where I would have taken an ibuprofin or tylenol...

I'm supposed to be on 81mg aspirin for my cardio issues, but haven't even done that.

Turmeric and Cats Claw work wonders for my inflammation. Nothing made on this earth helps with my headaches, except excedrin, so I have to choose between the headache and the itching.

I try to avoid salicylates in my food as well, but when I get a headache, its either me or it. I used to tell my doctor that a gunshot to the head would feel infinately better.

Default anti inflammatories

I do take turmeric daily, and have Cats Claw, but haven't used it yet. I've been lucky as the headaches have been few and mild.

But since most of us must have chronic inflammation, I was just wondering what others choose.

Maybe all of the garlic and onions are helping as well.
