| I said I was going to do the Atkins diet--NOT! Morgellons love to eat, so I am starving them, and lose the extra weight it made me gain in the process. I usually don't eat much until this came. I am doing my one meal a day, that's how I usually live most days because usually I'm never hungry. I will keep updates of my progress here with how much I've lost and changes I've noticed. What meal plan has helped you? |

| Eris, Try it for a while but log how you feel. I worry about one meal a day for several reasons. If you do have any mercury build up (I think it is mercury or some other metal) it is never a good idea to cleanse w/out food until you can get some of the mercury safely out. Otherwise it gets released in an unsafe way. It is harder for your body to digest and absorb nutrients when everything is all in one meal. It is easier to get nutrients in small meals throughout the day. It may slow down your metabolism even more. Sorry to mention those things. But if you try it and find it not working then you can try something different. I just don't want you to feel worse. I try to eat only natural, mostly raw foods. Organic vegetables, fruits, protein like certain free range meats and protein powders. Lots of yogurt and homemade kefir. Sometimes grains like oatmeal, etc. Well, if you do go on one meal a day I hope you will drink LOTS of water. What if you got a juicer and drank fresh, organic juices during the day? Then your body could still absorb more nutrients even if you only had one meal a day. Well, it's just a thought. |

| Hey Eris, not to try to be the boss o you/just lookin' out, I'm not a nutritionist and I eat total junk, but I think your body - like you posted on parasites, will tell you what it needs to survive via cravings/hunger... Be good to you. I pers wouldn't worry about things like perfect weight before I got thru Morgellon's/healed up. Parasites can add what look like pounds, then spots like love handles on ppl come off in cleanses/healing...I think we all need to stay strong to fight Morgellon's. Lots of good water and good food. I posted links from threads here on both food and water on your Welcome thread/one of your other threads started, cuz I know organics can be expensive, I think what you/others are saying about processed sugar, prolly true. Avoiding GMO's sounds good, too! I have a super high metabolism. I eat every time I'm hungry. Which is almost always... |

| Hey yall. The one meal a day hasn't been working, I get so super hungry with these parasites. EV I think you have a point in the parasites are making seem larger, I guess I've got a ton in me, lol. Fracty, I have a juicer but cleaning it is a task being I'm so very tired everyday. Thanks for the feedback, hopefully I will get back on track soon. |

| Eris, what brand of juicer? I want to get one,but not if it is hard to clean. I eat lots of small meals all day. Mostly raw vegetables, some raw fruits, soured products, organic, grass fed, free range meat. I think it is oneof the reasons i am doing very well. maybe you can try that. |

| I agree with Fracty, Also, don't eat the white stuff! Like flour, rice, sugar, potatoes, crackers, etc... It takes some discipline. The easiest way to change your diet is to go through your cupboards and throw away the crappy food & to start buying healthy foods! Read the labels when you go grocery shopping. Additives & preservatives (& the white stuff) "feed" the "M" in our bodies and make us sicker. I gained a lot of weight with "M" (back to normal now). Some of us lose too much weight with "M". It is strange that most of us either get too fat or too skinny. In the white light, ~jonsi

I find if you pick a few really healthy things to pig out on, if you need to, things that taste so decadently good you dont know they are so healthy, then it is easy. I have some of those foods. They are not necessarily low cal, but they are TOTALLY healthy and taste so good it takes away cravings for unhealthy. Weirdly enough, even cut up organic oranges, as long as they are good ones, take away sugar cravings. |
