Corn syrup is poision anyway without the mercury .
We are having debates in the UK about what is turning kids into violent killers .
They are blaming the parents and not considering what is in the food.

Does anything surprise anyone anymore?

I think it continues to get more alarming as ordinary people tend to find these articles on the internet and share them.

According to one Dr.'s article I read, people who claim they have Morgellons created this "Morgellons disease internet epidemic" and give people the information (symptoms, etc) they need in order to self diagnose themselves or run to their Dr. claiming to have this illness.

Quite the opposite. People who form these forums are whole hearted caring people who already know that anyone with the illness is going to end up with the same demeaning treatment they did. So the forum begins to grow and more caring people who have learned via hit and miss,things that may help, share this with others so they may have some relief and hope. Because they care they start to search for more help and info to share with others who are suffering and feel so all alone and desperate for anyone to hear and possibly have suggestions.

The internet can be an extremely dangerous place. However, in cases such as this, I can't help but believe forums such as this one have saved lives, and it did not take someone with capital letters after their last name. it took caring, concerned, compassionate people. I think "a good bedside manner" should be taught all through med school.

But a good bedside manner won't help with the doctors who do not research beyond what big pharma dictates.

What people have to watch out for on the internet are websites which are designed by the 'quackwatch' people, probably funded by big pharma, which LOOK on surface to be informed, public advocational, when in fact they bring up bogus 'studies' to refute any truth or remedies which will help people. This is where some of the money goes which they get from the outrageous cost of prescription medicine, or...'legalized drugs'!!

I have a lot of docs. about big pharma scoundrels but I never knew this!!

It is beyond my comprehension, the things going on now days and how they can even be considered legal!, and not just big pharma.

I think most of us here know who's in bed with who. With all the way too fast moving technology these days, I absolutely can not believe there is no cure for cancer. Big Pharma paid drug companies off so they wouldn't make generics, who's to say a cancer cure isn't laden with hush money. Wouldn't the drug industry go broke if there was a cure for cancer and it was available? As far as that goes, any incurable illnesses. Researchers may get paid to NOT to look for a cure, but only to create more symptom relief drugs.

These are sad times we are having when this is going on regarding the human race. The only thing I can hold onto, with hope, a smile, and calmness is God. He has His plan. God said that even bad government was better than none at all. This is His world and everyone in it belongs to Him and will have to answer to Him some day, including me. All that we/they/whomever have is on loan from God.

One thing I have never seen and don't expect to is a U-haul behind a hearse. We all end up with the same dirt nap, whether poor, or one of the rich trying to get richer.

Do you have the link yet to this about big pharma? I'd love to send it to my pain Dr. He's superb. He works for himself because he does not believe in how institutions (clinics, etc.) are run. He makes far less money on his own but he's one of "us". He would never adhere to some things people have been through by other docs.

well I do agree with most of this we would like to beleave if it is on the shelves it is safe for us...we now know it is in are hands to search and make sure it is safe for us then the more searching you do the more you find that is bad and we dont have much choice because we need to eat.....one thing i dont understand is why would are gov. let the drug companys get away with this wouldnt it free up alot of are money to help with this mess we are in now?
