Liver-Flush Recipe

Recipe for "Liver Flush" (serves 1)

1/4 cup water
1 tsp whole cloves
3-4 sprigs parsley
1/2 grapefruit
2 oranges
1/2 lemon
1 or 2 inches ginger root
1 clove garlic
1 pinch cayenne pepper (don't add if you are blood type A)

Remove skin and larger seeds from fruit.
Put all ingredients in blender and blend on high.

Add:
2 Tbsp cold pressed extra virgin oil

and blend again.

Use organic fruits if you can and it doesn't have to be "cold pressed" extra virgin oil.

Can I substitute Tequila?


bs Actually there is an amino acid that can be added that is also good for the liver L-ORNITHINE a holistic MD told me about this one. similiar recipe as sited here with a twist.

Mescal tequilla has that worm, if you can call it a worm! Looks like a bald caterpillar to me

Maybe rum with sugar around the rim? No, I'll take my liver flush straight, it won't grow "hair" on your chest (hair, fiber ??? what's the diff?!)
