Thanks friski for the tip! I actually like Japanese food. Not so much sushi, but California and Boston rolls etc... There cooked chicken meals, but on occasion I will feel a bit wild and have sushi. Good info to know thanks.

Hi Friski, Great article you posted here. It reveals that fish is heavily polluted with mercury in depth. One restaurant owner saying "well, maybe he will not serve tuna in sushi" is not the answer either to the environmental disaster which has polluted fish everywhere. I think that mercury toxicity is the tip of the iceberg as far as what is happening to the fish people are eating. After I had the mercury removed from my teeth (and it was quite a lot too) I started seeing a practitioner who helps detoxify mercury from the body. It was from him that I learned that almost all fish is heavily polluted with mercury and other toxins.

Farmed fish is something that you never want to eat. Since I became ill from eating fish, I wonder just how many parasites are in the fish that are farmed and served in restaurants and lie in display cases in supermarkets. Parasites may be in this fish that doctors will have never seen or know how to treat. This is information which I believe folks who sell fish, particularly fish from the Orient including shrimp, do not want you to have. These fish and other seafood are fed lots of antibiotics to keep down the heavy sea lice infestations and diseases they have in the crowded condition in which they live. The real tragedy is that these fish which are ill and confined in close quarters may escape and pass all these diseases and parasites to the lowered numbers of wild fish still living in the oceans. Fish and other seafood are IMHO no longer that safe to eat because of many reasons, mercury being the most prominent and probably the most dangerous, too, neurologically.

Hi all,
I was eating lots of sushi just before this manifested itself. I also ate wild salmon regularly, but asked only for the smallest fish pieces possible as the larger the fish, the more time it had to accumulate mercury and other toxins (so I've read). Now I won't eat fish or meat and only organic chicken. You can get the omega3 fatty acids from flaxseed and walnuts, (so they say). It's getting so I just want to take a pill with all the nutrients rather than eating. You have to wash veggies thoroughly to hopefully get rid of buggers and toxins and it's just all such a royal pain in the .
