| Friski The peach green tea from Bigelow is great. I have been using it this summer to make sun tea and throwing in a few Pau'de arco tea bags for the morgs. I have always been a tea drinker (never got the taste for coffee) but always used sugar. I can forgo the sugar with the peach tea. Just this year I started using mint out of the herb garden to flavor tea (so no sugar) and that worked too. Just bought a new organic Daily Detox tea- passion fruit flavor at the health food store, but have not tried it yet. Has anyone used the xyolite (sp?). How does it work for a sweetner? Linda

| Linda: I think you mean xylitol which may be used as a sweetner. I have only had it in gum, toothpaste, xlear spray for sinuses but suppose it may work as a food sweetner too, at least in tea, and is healthier for the teeth than many other sweetners. Here is a nice little article which discusses xylitol as excerpted from the Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients (a wonderful magazine to subscribe to if interested in alternative health as doctors practice it). I think that if you get the book which is discussed briefly in the article there would be more info on xylitol including recipes to use it. Does say it takes some time (approx 10 days) to turn on the body's enzymes to digest it (may cause diarrhea in large amounts until getting used to it), but once that happens one might be able to eat more of it: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...y/ai_104259130 Will try to pm later, been busy last two days. Best wishes, tcmgpt13

| TC Thanks, yes, that is it. I knew I was probably spelling it wrong. I f memory serves me right I read that one of the good properties was that it would bind to things we wanted to get out of our body. Thanks! Fugured you or someone would know something about it. Linda

| Friski I am always looking for a good tea. I need to order from linnysues (I think) person who has the good love tea. Back in the "good old days..." when i seemed to find time, I used to buy a lot of loose tea with the actual berries and all. Some of them were awesome. But the store closed and I kinda lost track of using loose tea. Stash also makes some good teas.. The fusion red& white tea is good. Friski, you sound like you could have been one of the hippie kids if you are old enough! Linda .

| Linda, "Love" is really decicious I ordered it on ebay. It was a great price for 225 bags. I've been buying loose teas and mixin' it up. Last night it was Alfalfa/ginger & lemongrass/mother's milk/kava. I looked at it steeping and thought, you might get a buzz off that...LOL... least I didn't roll it up and smoke it! Linda |

| Linda, I can't keep all us Linda's straight here!!!! ![]() I knew it was one of us that got the love tea!! And, it came with something else that was good that you ordered, but darn if I can remember ??? This is exactly why I'd like to have a "product" area. I remembered you posting about it. I have had some of the BEST teas loose. Have you ever gotten a cherry one with the dried berries? I keep thinking some of these have medicinal qualitites and may be good for the morgs. Have you been making your own lotions? PM me -I'd love to hear what you are doing. My sis is real into Bach flower essence and has a zillion of them. Thanks for helping me figure out the Love tea mystery! BTW- I think you brought up papaya before. I have been trying it. Do they make a papaya dried tea???? Linda
