| What is rBST or rBGH? Bovine somatotropin (BST) is a protein hormone naturally produced in the pituitary glands of cattle. Monsanto developed a recombinant version, rBST, by using a genetically engineered E. coli bacteria. Sold under the brand name “Posilac,” it is injected into cows to boost milk output in the short term. This practice is coming under increasing scrutiny. rBST is also known as rBGH (recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone).R Organic Valley - About rBGH |

| Pesticides have inherent toxicity because they are designed to kill living organisms that are considered "pests." Many pesticides are known to pose significant, acknowledged health risks to people—including birth defects,*damage to the nervous system; disruption of hormones and endocrine systems; respiratory disorders; skin and eye irritations; and various types of*cancers. We Keep Getting More Every year, new research is published demonstrating the toxicity of pesticides to human health and the environment, often at doses previously declared "safe" by the pesticide industry and the government.* Over the years, many pesticides that were once allowed by the EPA have eventually been banned—yet in some cases the damage remains. DDT still exists in the environment and in the cells of Americans, 30 years after it was banned in the United States. The risks of exposure*to*any single synthetic pesticide grow exponentially, and unpredictably, when combined with*other environmental*chemical exposures.* There are over 600 registered pesticides in use at the present time. Due to increasing pest resistance, both the volume and the toxicity of these chemicals continues to rise. 940 million pounds of chemical pesticides were used in 2000. That’s more then 3 pounds for every person in the U.S.7 U.S. consumers experience up to 70 daily exposures to residues from persistent organic pollutants (POPs) through their diets. |

I came across an old posting of yours referring to Vaxa. I am considering using it, but you said that you would advise a Doctor's involvement. I am not under a Dr.'s care for this, as I was basically told that it's all in my head. Can you give me an idea of just how bad the experience was? I can tell that I have some heavy infestation in my digestive, urinary and reproductive areas, as the whole groin area is pretty much the only place where I have really visible manifestation, and also "activity". |

| Hold off on the vaxa until you have cleansed your colon. It is a great product, and this is where I think I went wrong, build your self up first. Are you taking a good multi vitamin? How is your diet? Have you incorporated more veggies into your diet? Have you considered juicing? I think that just doing the vaxa and nothing else, is too much of a load of toxins at one time. Get your body ready for this. You must clean your colon, either by herbs or colonics, to get your self in fighting shape. I prefer colonics, but I know most people don't like the idea. What kind of supplements are you doing? Do you have any other health issues? |

| I've been one of the 20 to 50 guests. :P How have you been? Did you like the part where life was made of 'left' handed molecules? Recombinant as in reversing right and left biases. It is a little off topic.

I am pretty much a vegetarian now, with 95% of my diet comprised of organic salads, combined with steamed broccoli, brussels sprouts, green beans, squash, peas, occasionally carrots, chickpeas, and lots of almongs for protein. I eat greek yogurt now with every meal, and in the morning i mix in a tablespoon of coconut oil. I drink tons of ginger tea, 1 cup of green tea per day, and a lot of hot water with lemon or lime juice. No sugar, almost no animal protein, although last night i had a salad with a couple ounces of grilled chicken. I feel as if my body is missing something without the animal protein, but I get an increase of symptoms when I eat it. It really tastes good, and feels right when I'm eating it though. I have been very regular, which is good, and which I think is attributed to all the veggies and the artichoke extract, as well as all of the fluids. I just got some black walnut hull, which I am going to try this weekend and see what happens. Your thoughts are welcome. |

| I think your doing great! Your in much better shape than when I used the vaxa. One thing... once you start the vaxa kit, drink water ,water and more water. Your getting the entire kit right? Also buy it directly from vaxa, because if you don't like it, they will give you your money back. They are very nice on the phone, you can ask them about the nurse that sends all her morgellons patients to vaxa. She (the nurse) was recommending 2 to 3 months on this. This nurse lives in central Florida. Last edited by Janice; October 29th, 2011 at 10:53 AM. |

| Avoiding Antibiotics Protects Human Health The medical community agrees that widespread use of antibiotics leads to the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, or “superbugs,” which pose increasing threats to humans.*Researchers from Johns Hopkins investigated possible antibiotic resistance in airborne bacteria in a swine concentrated animal feeding operation (CAFO) in the mid-Atlantic U.S. They concluded that exposure to airborne bacteria from a CAFO is a potential pathway for transferring antibiotic-resistant bacteria from animals to humans.2 Routine*Antibiotic Use in Animals Is an Unacceptable Risk The FDA has declared that antibiotic resistance in humans resulting from the use of antibiotics in animals “is an unacceptable risk to the public health.”3 The Union of Concerned Scientists found that “25 million pounds of valuable antibiotics -- roughly 70 percent of total US antibiotic production -- are fed to chickens, pigs, and cows for nontherapeutic purposes like growth promotion.”4 |
