Default I Got A Job!

Hi Everyone,
I GOT A JOB! YAY! It's not much, but it's a job that I need very bad. It's at Walmart. I will be a cashier and I start on November 8th.
Things have been terrible financially and this is a start to getting back on track.
The pay isn't much, but it's more than before.... nothing.
I guess I did very well. They require 3 interviews but the manager liked me so much that I only had to have 1. She said I did well, not nervous at all and my answers were excellent. YAY again!
I haven't had a job in 8 years. I am happy and have mixed emotions. I know the job will not be difficult. What I am worried about is my morgellons acting up. I have found that when I am out of the house in a different environment I do have less symptoms. Speaking of, my symptoms seem to be fairly mild these days. Not that they are gone, just not going crazy.
I am relieved to have gotten this job. It's close to home, and I feel the only stress will be from customers which isn't a problem for me. I am very good at customer service and patient.
I wanted to share this with all of you. You have listened to my grunts and complaints and now I have something positive for you to read.
God Bless all of you,
Ghettogirl

Well done! I am really happy for you GG!

You have tried very hard for a long time and worked your tail feathers off to take care of yourself and family through some very trying times.

It's been a long haul, and I am delighted that you made it to the top of the list with just one interview.

Jobs are scarce and good managers that appreciate good employees are very rare. I want to say that I don't think it's down to luck that you were successful, but rather your positive outlook, determination to succeed and willingness to try. I am sure that your new boss will find that she made the best selection from the candidates that applied. You have pluck and courage and a can-do attitude, all the ingredients for making this work.

Maybe your Morgellons will get better. Lots of people say that being out of their home environment on a daily basis really helps, and having a financial base to build on eases a lot of stress, which seems to make our symptoms worse. I am hoping that all of this will be true for you, too.

This is great news and I am sure your family is really happy, too.

Stop bye now and again and let us know how it is going. You have a lot of friends here who care very much and have felt supported and cared for by you, in turn.

Congratulations!!! I am so very happy for you, and just from reading some of your posts, I am sure that you will do really well! It will be good for you, and a good diversion to be out and about, dealing with all kinds of people and keeping busy. Just remember to take care of yourself while working, and don't let your guard down with diet, rest, etc.

Keep in touch... you go girl!

Hey there GG,

Yay! What terrific news for you! It will be good to get out of the house some and forget all about M. I know that whenever I do, even if to just buy some groceries, I feel better. I hope your enjoy your job. It's great that you like working with people. Yours will be one of the happy faces I think about when I see a grumpy cashier at the register. I know you will keep on smiling for your enthusiasm here is catching.

best, tcm
