Default i didnt think it could happen...my poor dog

ok, so dogs get fleas, no matter how clean.right? but we got some MEGA HUGE fleas up in here right lately! i always vacumn, i just do. but ive also been bathing my dog a lot more ,like every other week now, and the bugs that came off her today were NOTHING like ive seen before, i even told my dad to look what was left in the tub before i rinsed it....these are huge, not like 'full' fleas, i looked under my little microscope, i dont know bugs, they look like big hurkin fleas...but my dog actually walks like shes cramped up, she scratches herself under the pool table until i catch her and make her stop, shes an indoor dog, rarely going out expect to poo, shes been to the vet but she gets so hyper they cant look at her real well...
the weird thing, her fur isnt thinning. she doesnt have mange, i thought a hot spot, but no signs of that either.when i pet her, i only pet her head because she almost cringes like shes in pain, but her fur and skin feel fine!
ive had animals all my life, ive never seen an animal appear to be suffereing, but look perfect.again, shes been to the vet recently, twice in fact, once for her shots, then to a different vet ( my usual vet) and she has clean bill of health.
when i bath her, i do it in a warm bathtub, she actually likes it, the water turns red, but no scabs.skin feel fine.hair feels fine...
this is even more bizzare than MY morgys, thats seems to have cleared up, but i feel so bad if i gave it to my dog~ its this damn house..it is...i figure ive built an immunity, but her symptoms are nothing ive ever seen in 44 years, and 2 vets opinions....
PS.. ill still say i dont think its morgs for her, considering the HUGE fleas that washed off her.( i shampooed her with head and shoulders this time, she seems content so far. i always wash her bedding and vacumn at the same time she gets a bath)
ok, whatcha think? im stumped
also, i ALWAYS finish by spraying tub/bathroom with clorox cleaner in the green/white bottle..this stuffs the b

Default Carpet

If your dog is a indoor dog and you take really good care then you need to look at any carpet or bedding real well.

There is a powder you can buy to keep flees at bay in carpets and bedding, Sevin dust.

Smile I didn't think it could happen

Jane, I am so sorry about your dog. I have no idea what to do except maybe to dust her with sulphur. I think the suggestions given are also good. especially the brewers yeast. As mentioned the carpet could be a factor.

I' m glad your morgs is gone. How did you do it.? I'm sure my house is a problem as well.

gator, tons of revamping the house.from carpets to painting walls, to taking down bushes in yard. also i BROKE the cycle, this is real important once the house is livable.i went to the beach for almost a week at the time they would 'start', so now thats what i do when it feels like they come back, i go stay someplace else for a few days.only problem is other places arent always as clean as where you just left, so if you can find a decent hotel, go back to that one.just getting out of your envirment is great to help get you out of the rut this morgys gets us in..got to work on the mind as well as the body and house..its a lot, a whole lot, and with the energy drained, its even harder. factor in an 85 yr old man that is the broken 'its fine, all in your head' record, even harder..it was so overwhelming when i came back here..but after ,what, couple years, its finally ok. but its still keeping on top of it. i know it will come back if i get too comfy.
luckly for me, ive never been a person that can live in a mess, no matter where i live, its got to be clean and orginized..people that are ok with messy have even harder problems because i always have that driving force to clean, and i still have to MAKE myself get up and do it sometimes.its not easy, but its better than living with this crap. it CAN get better, but its not even easy.

sammy, ive tried brewers yeast, gave her the farts so bad i couldnt stand her, lol, the vet sugested pumkin ( yes, pumkin in the jars you use for pies) mix 1/4 with her food, but that was for her to loose a few pounds, she hated that.
i try to avoid using flea/tick stuffs and any kind of 'bug killers' because with all this eco-friendly junk, all the stuff does is makes the bugs breed faster.whats the point of bug killer that doesnt harm the bugs? whos bright idea was that one? i dont know, somethings ill try, but the good old fashioned vacuming and keeping her bathed does ok, i just hate to see her suffereing..shes been pretty good since her bath last night, ill stick to the head and shoulders instead of panteen.lol.its weird, i think she 'lets' this house get to her, if i take her to the beach for the day, shes a new dog.so i guess the beach is in order more often, good thing its close..

heres where we went yesterday, check out the smoked headlights i got for my stang...sweet,huh?
