Where is MDR

Hello all,

I know i get some funky viruses on my computer sometimes, but I could not
find this website for a while. Is it me, or did something happen and I am lagging
so hard behind?
Anyways, I wanted to share how upset I was when I could not access this website. I know there are several, many, morgellon websites out there, but
I have made this one my "home" regarding morgellons. It is the one I feel most comfortable with.
I am familiar with other sites regarding morgellons, and some are good, and a lot just suck.
Just wanted to share that, glad to see you mdr

This website was down for a few weeks Thankfully it is back up so we can all lean on each other for the help we need.

This website going down around the first of every month is getting frustrating. Many people have made this their home site, as I have too, and I cross reference link a lot of my work back to this site.

Although those whom run this board may not feel like an explanation is in order, or it could be that it is of a personal nature such as financial or health, but as members we do need some type of reliability. With both sides taken into account, perhaps some explanation would be possible without relaying too much info if it does happen to be personal and not wanting to be necessarily shared in a forum setting.

Was this site inaccessible to all or to a few? And why? I have some friends whom state they were able to access this site? Is the problem with updating, browser,...??? Why the first of the month?

You sound very sincere Gettogirl. Welcome. And many good things will happen. Gotta beleive or it all spoils away. Hey I was lost to and I,m doing pretty well at this point in it all. There is a way or ways to either beat this thing or and at the worst at least get much better. I see things in your post now that makes me recline from things I may have said earlier. Not sure if I did or not. Many times of peace to you. You are a sincere soul. I just feel that. Glad you,re here.

Frito, you have asked some good questions. I will not pretend to have a wits awnser on any of them. I could not have asked what you did any more elequently. Maybe it was several things like in fighting on the board. Notice Carla did not post much then ( I think there were some desions being made about the board status then) and there was infighting going on (I,m guilty) then. I,ll put my money on this infighting theory. Its hateful, it hurts, its unproductive, and it was rampant. I was guilty of it. I did not see you as being any part of that. I said some slimmy things and proabally should have been banned at some point. I was also sick with this, thats my excuse.I don,t think Franky or Carla owe us any kind of explination it dost,t even matter. The board was down and thats it. It would be nice and ok to know just out of curiosity and thats all. They owe us nothing. We owe them. I,ll always beleive that part. Frito you are as smart as they get, well mannered and to the point kinda person. Thank you for that much. I mean that Frito.

Is there a charge for this site???? not sure but it does go down quite a bit and no one has said why not sure. sammy

Sammy the time before this, that the board went down was due to infighting and threats made to Franky, which Franky had nothing to do with. Someone demanded information about another member and threatened him if he or she did not get it. He almost did not reopen the board. I don,t blame him>Not sure what I would have done.
I,m certian it costs to keep the board up. How much I have no idea. Depends on traffic and bandwidth used I would suppose. Just before Christmas of last year I emailed Franky and offered 50$ in support of the board. He mailed back,thanked me for the offer and politely declined it. Said all was good. He,s a heck of a guy. I know he,s not after this to make money but if it is costing him I sure would feel better if allowed to make small contributions on occasions.

I haven't been able to get in for a while now, and I don't think it has anything to do with fighting on the threads. I try to keep out of the spats that occur on here, not productive for anyone. We all need this site to continue.

Anyway, I am glad to see the site back up and running. DD
