Default Morg-free ladies' slacks

I've had great luck with these slacks. I've had them for about a year, wash in hot water every week and they're no-iron. The morgs don't seem to like or infect them. Ok, they're for "mature" women; if you're 25, you'll hate them. Sorry! For those of us 50 and over, they're comfy, worry-free and they stay looking nice and neat. But don't spread it around. If Alfred Dunner finds out morgies are buying his slacks, he might take them off the market.

I'm gonna try some sojii. I have 4 pairs of pants, 2 of which are shot. I ned them badly since theh have to be washed after wearing 1 time.

Sometimes it seems like all I do is wash.

Now, how about undies? Know any good ones? Not just panties either.

Pajamas is another item I need. I change clothes at night, sleep in them in my recliner and then change them the next night. I haven't worn PJs in 3 years.

I really need help. I have 2 bras. Ok, so guys don't need these and it is pretty private stuff but it's life and we're all here to helo each other.

Default Anti-Morg fashion info on this beautiful T'giving...

Posey,

I promised I would leave the computer OFF today...I guess I lied...it's a sickness...

Re the throws, 100% plush has worked well for me as blankets. Not the kind that clumps; gotta be careful, and toss them when they start getting heavy pilling. Don't use them next to the body; satin top sheet between.

I've slept in my clothes a few times, too, out of desperation (or fear!) so I know where you're coming from. Poly satin's the way to go for pj's too. Another Penney's bargain. I sound like a Penney's commercial when it comes to polyester satin, but it works for me. On their website, they have polyester satin pajamas. If you live in an area that has a Penney's catalogue outlet, they also have polyester satin sleep shirts and caftans. I haven't checked their outlet website for them; will later and post if there's a link.

I warning about satin; the monsters will pull threads. But I think they can't do anything with them. I've never had biting or itching with poly satin.

Underwear, I have more problems with bras. That's where cacoons usually form and I find lots of colored thready looking stuff. So every night, I use tweezers to pull off any thready stuff and forming cacoons, snip off any raveling that looks suspicious and then go over the whole thing with packing tape to catch anything too small to see. I soak my bras and panties in straight H2O2 for at least 30 minutes prior to washing w/borax, oxy-clean and detergent. Then I wash on hot / heavy-duty. I've got the whitest dadgum underwear anywhere! You don't want bras w/any "enhancement" padding! The monsters get into it and you can't get them out. Playtex 18-hour #4609 is the best bra I've found that stands up to the washing torture I put them through without falling apart. Buy them a size larger than you need because they will shrink a little from all the hot water. They run $29. here, but somebody is always doing a buy-one-get-one-half-off sale. They carry them at all major department stores and even Wal Mart. A better choice would be something that's all synthetic, spandex or something, but not many 58 year old ladies can wear them. Panties, any old spandex-type "control" panties work. Wal Mart has a $3.50 variety from Vassarette. Wear them inside-out so the cotton crotch isn't next to the skin and also so that when you're taken to the emergency room like I was after my wreck last week, the medical staff will automatically think you're a befuddled middle-aged broad and give you anxiety drugs...(I didn't take them. I enjoy my anxiety.)

Ok, I can't believe I'm talking about "unmentionables" on a public forum, but as you said, Posey, it's for the good of all. And no one knows me anyway.

Happy Thanksgiving to the US members. Westminster's on tv and I have to go see the doggies now.

Default Unmentionables & sweats

Har Har, Jim. Good one. If we were talking about lacy, skimpy underthings, you'd probably pay more attention.... Unfortunately we're forced to wear the industrial strength variety. Probably the same kind they issue in prison...

Jane, I don't get the 'print sweats' thing. Could you be more specific? A website, maybe?

I was going to get up at 2 and hit the malls when they opened this morning at 4. I didn't make it. Are the rest of you guys doing Black Friday? I'm looking more for myself than for gifts. I've got to find some morg-friendly long-sleeved tops or I'll freeze. Last winter I'd just gotten this and didn't know it was the cotton that was making the symptoms so bad. Everything I had was cotton or fuzzy. By the time I discovered it, the cold weather was over. So I have no winter tops.
