Survey about online communities - responses needed

Hi everyone.

I am a final year undergraduate student in University College Cork in Ireland and I am researching how people interact in online communities. As you are a member of this forum, my study would benefit greatly from your contribution. The study consists of an anonymous, 15-minute survey which you can access by going to the link below. The survey features general questions about interacting online as well as specific questions about your participation in this forum.

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose a forum about a controversial topic like this one to include in your study?

And would you mind indicating:
- what other forums you've approached, and
- what theory you're hoping to prove?

Good point Sojii about what other forums have been approached. I looked some of them up the other day as I wondered about the new silent member with the UCCresearcher name. I found other forums who also have this form letter posted. Some of them are far out, literally. I notice that conspiracy (consp) is part of the URL, so that says a lot too.

I goggled it and the survey has gotten on some other forums also..
I dont know exactly what its purpose is.

Some rather strange questions too....

Jane, I clicked the link..and NO..my screen didn't turn blue.....but..you're right one should be careful when clicking links....never no where you end up...might be a survey, asking lots of questions...and you don't like questions do ya?...lol...

no, i like questions actually,( me? not like questions? you jest...lol) im just on my 3rd computer this year alone and this one is over 10 years old! most stuff that works just fine on others, will lock this one up for days...thats why im carefull..
