Default doctor at johns hopkins

I went too johns Hopkins yesterday and had a derm look at the lesions on my leg. when she heard how many doctors I have been too she called in several more doctors too look at me they said I have pyodrma gangrenosum and prescribed and actually put these bandages on my lesions. They are very expensive even with insurance she said they will close up the opening. but when I look at them today they are looking like a size of a penny and white anyone everheard of this. I will go back in three weeks. they seemed like they listened too me more than any doctor has, my husband was quite impressed. sammy

Default Hi Sammy!

Were your lesions really large on your legs? Wikapedia has pics of the lesions.
Do you have smaller ones as well? Thanks Janice

Default doctors

Hi Sammy...I'm Bustercat. I had a medical appt. yesterday with my hand that was chemicaly burned while I was furiously trying to take out the last volcanic tumor, with Bustercats invention of things that work.

They poo fooed me until I unrapped my hand. The valcano sat predominatly in the center of the hand greenish, then gray dead morgie skin, then red meat where the skin fell off. Yellow patterns of squares led to the center piece like the yellow brick road. Except the Dr.'s aren't wizards. Morgie fibres where trying to escape the red flesh. Black dots and tar were clinging together in the red meat, it looked like a mutant syfy hand. If I wasn't an artist the colors alone would have overwhelmed me.

Cut a goodly size chunk out of the multicelluar mound, for test. Told me to take a hefty 500 mg. of new anti biotic fresh out of the witches brew in Europe. Four pills a day for 10 days. I was in compliance until the red rashes flashed like neon lights. I quit their treatment. Never a dull moment, either I do something stupid, or they do. My burn was from a mixture of bengal tea, garlic, lemon juice,I guess the combo+tea bag made a deep depression in my spirit, soul, and body. The morgies were happier than ever, I had stopped killing them for now. Proffessionals cant seem to bridge the gap, this is not a bacterial disease. I understand your lesions, its hopeful that it will work, but morgies aren't just in the skin, they are lerking in the subtrain waiting for their jump into the wonderful outside world. Know body wants to view meat sections of the hand or leg, however how will a transplant work when the opportunistic horde is waiting in the wings. I'm going to have one heck of a scar. This is an impossible condition, and I can see why they'ed rather have us nuts than admit that they dont have the answers.

Janice, had 2 lesions one on each leg about the size of a penny. What the doctor did and she said no medicine will work is put these patches and not sure what they have in them over my lesions. I see today they are all white the patches do not come off for 5 days then are replaced they are expensive she said like 60 with a prescrition card. have not gotten into the fiber part or other symptons go back in two weeks. will let you all know. sammy

Default Thanks Sammy

I printed up some info on the disease they diagnosed you with, it is very interesting. They say that most people (not all) have some underling disease. For me this was quite interesting, as I have hep c, and this was one of the diseases that one site mentioned as a likely suspect. Of course there are many more suspect diseases that may cause pyodrma gangrenosum. Janice

I am trying to keep an open mind as to what "morgellons" is. It may be some rare, obscure disease that is already on the books some where, with a clinical name, that has morphed a bit. We just don't know. I am just happy that Johns hopkins doctors came up with some thing we have not heard about before. They treated you with respect as well. I think this is all very good. Janice
