A Wish Worth Making

If I could make a prayer today..........

I would that all this conflict stop.
I really need this site to be a safe, gentle, supportive and informative place for me to come.

I came to MDR when I was at my sickest....

Morgellons has taken so many things from me:

I lost my pets, my home, my career,
All my possessions,
I lost all but one friend,
Morgellons drove me to near suicide,
Caused me to admit myself voluntarily to a mental health unit,
Caused me to abandon my home and become homeless for a time.
It caused me to be financially, emotionally and spiritually bankrupt.

When I came to MDR, I was so ill, I could not type a full sentence without many mistakes because the biting and crawling was so intense, I would have to stop in the middle of reading treatment suggestion posts and rush to the shower to get these horrors off my skin and out of my hair, one MORE time... one night, I stayed in the shower for 12 hours, it was that bad.

Since I have been here a while, I have received a lot of support and help of suggestions. I have new friends who genuinely care about me, and I have regained most of what I have lost --and that which did not come back to me, I found I do not need.

So please, for the sake of desperate people coming here looking for help, answers and support, and for those of us, like me, who really need this forum....

Let's get on with helping each other and being constructive.

Please leave the arguments and conflict for PM's between members please.... that's a more appropriate venue than the public message boards.

I love you guys, but we gotta be a family at peace, not war.

Dear Sky!,....I understand as most here would,...I went through the same,...my worst time being the first 2 & 1/2 years,.....it's all most like having this little life saver,..and being in a vast OCEAN ....with no one to help,....and no one in sight,.. feeling so alone.
