.................................................. ....... we need no clothes we got BIO FILM all over us, made out of the same organisms that any GMO shirt or skirt contains etc. -- so why bother wearing GMO over GMO lol well now if u prefer variations on theme then makes sense to mix and match lol

Vinegar water has been helping me a lot with external biofilm. It's gradual, but it really takes it off. 1/2 vinegar, 1/2 warm water before I shower. I can't do the baths a lot of people do; I live in a retirement community. No bathtubs, only showers. The trade-off is no carpeting to deal with in the living area, only the bedroom and closets. There's a walk-in clothes closet that's my "clean room". I have a pair of clean rubber flip-flops just inside the door, never go in with regular shoes on or my hair down or wearing clothes I've worn all day. I know...goofy, huh? Anything that doesn't have to be hung is in plastic zip locks or tubs. I feel like a mad scientist. Oh, and I run my plastic hangers through the dishwasher every once in awhile.... ![]()

This is just me, but I don't know if I buy the "cotton" issue. What helped me the most, and I no longer have bitting clothes at all, was getting rid of the bugs in my house. I had the same problem as you, and it was horrible. Now I can wear any thing and every thing. Just food for thought. Janice

Janice, My apt. is pretty bugless. The "bites" I get aren't really bites at all; they're from the little black hair-like things that appear in cacoon-type unravelings in my underwear and some clothing. I don't really know if they're coming from the clothing or from me. If I can catch it when I feel "wiggling", I don't get stung, or whatever it is they're doing. Talcum powder seems to slow them down and when that doesn't work, a few layers of toilet paper at the wiggle-site does. I do buy the cotton thing since it was much worse when I wore cotton, but I don't think it's bugs. At least not for me.

I wash all my clothes in bioKLEEN enzyme activated laundry detergent, and I add borax to the wash. Once in a while I'll sprinkle borax and or baking soda on the carpet or mattresses and let it sit, then vacuum. I'm not a clean freak, so..... dunno if this is what has helped me not feel the "wiggles" in my clothes and what not... Love, kc

kckc, thanks. I'd heard about Biokleen but it hadn't been available here, only over the internet. But the health food store I go to started carrying it just recently; I bought the enzymatic cleaner this weekend. They have the detergent so I'll try it when it's time to buy more. It's pricey; $21. Are you able to wear cotton using Biokleen?

Soji ,Have youlooked into Andy Coyles research on the BT cotton? He has found some links between this and Morgellons . Throwing out your old stuff and buying new cotton products might be the worst thing we can do.

Sojii, Yes, I wear nothing but cotton, I'm a jeans and t-shirt kinda gal .I couldn't afford to buy new stuff so..... Yeah, I know its expensive, I buy it for like 17$ at my health food store, but I have a he washer, so I get to use half the amount and it gives me 128 loads. I've looked it up on line, its cheaper, but then ya gotta figure shipping... I'll try and look for it again maybe tom if I get a chance... might be a better deal if I buy more than one .But the borax is only like 3$, and you can spread that all over your mattress, carpet... I've read that it kills many a household pests.... I likey it ![]() I agree, morgellons is most rampant with cotton,....... it sucks. Love kc

Carla, no, I haven't seen that research, but will see if I can find it. I have read things that indicate there's a relationship and all my cotton clothes drove me nuts when this first started, before I found out there was such a thing as Morgellons. kckc, I've always been a cotton & jeans gal, too. I'm middle aged; WAY too young for polyester! The only good thing I can say about it is that you can wash it in hot water, it never fades or shrinks or loses shape. And it will outlive us all...archeologists in the next millenium will be finding like-new polyester clothing buried in the rubble of civilizations...
