| Hi Belle! This is actually Dragon's case, I am just posting the atty info so we can get as many Morgies on the map as possible, on official documentation. Thank you, Belle! This ruling could also help some mainstream doctors understand Morgellon's and work around their corrupt AMA training to better educate themselves - Good Job! I will say, though, at this point in the game, there are successful protocols out there, proven to work in various states from ages 2.5 +, for as little as $180 or so. If your Doc isn't yet on board, I'd drop that Zero and get myself a Hero. Dragon has posted a bit of the details in an attachment on here for us, I'm not sure if she had a problem scanning it, since it came from a big .tiff file or if that's all she felt comfortable sharing. She can tell us, but I'm hoping we can see the entire document, because it will give a lot of hope to even those of us that this SSDI will not apply to, may help a lot of folks in a lot of ways... (Dragon, if that file is a problem, I can scan it for ya from here & send it to you to post, please advise...Thank you for sharing a bit of it! ![]() |

| Is this NOT legal acknowlwdgement of "M"; getting SSDI. IMO, I think it is. SSDI does not just give SSD benefits to just anyone. Many have died waiting for them for illnesses we all know of. I pity anyone who has to work with this horrible thing. I was not working due to disability before I got this and it is the ONLY thing I am glad about while having this. For those working, try to be strong. I worked a long time before I did finally file for LTD-SSDI and by the time I did, all my co-workers disliked me because I was not able to be a :team player", as the saying goes. I wanted to work. I loved working. But ya know, the crap I took from co-workers was almost worse than the disability itself.

| Hi Posey and all who have participated in this topic... I called the lawyer who won the most recent landmark case in Fla. and they said in order to qualify, that you had to have been working for 5 years within the last 10 in order to qualify. Well, that takes me out of the equation, because I was taking care of my kids 24/7 without hubby's help, then separated from him, moved us out and took classes to become a computer web site developer. Worked for a full year then started getting sick and could only take on part time jobs, most of which didn't work out for long periods of time for one reason or another...company going out of business, etc. One was too hard on me since the commute was almost 2 hours, then had to come home and help the kids with homework, cook, clean, laundry etc. Physically became more and more run down then got full blown morgellons a few years later. Where does someone like me get financial help? thanks for any help, love pdidit |

| Hi Pdiddit. Are you looking for anything specific? There's a lot of information regarding food banks and support under Financial Aid but is there any information you were looking for and couldn't find? Maybe it hadn't been posted yet and people here can help? |
| |||
| Hi MeToo I will browse the financial aid link you gave--thanks. Mainly looking for some regular monthly stipend, since funds are running low here--lawyer is working for me to get alimony since I have no income and am living off of borrowed time. It will help when I get my house sold too, so am assuming because of that asset, I wouldn't qualify for much but didn't know...I wanted more of an assurance that I could have a certain amount to count on every month, since I still don't know how long I will be out of work...or if I ever could return to work. At this point, no one would hire me the way I look anyway, even if I could. I am still having eruptions and a huge amount of skin peeling without any warning and have to keep my short and weird looking hair plastered down with sprays etc. oops..meant the icon to be sad, not mad and it be included in the ending here..lol. love pdidit |

| Hello, I myself do not need to see Dragon's personal or identifiable data. It matters, to an extent, whether the Judge was speaking obiter in any of his favourable statements. England, as a common law jurisdiction, may apply the Judge's learned comments and conclusion in applicable cases, e.g. Tribunals, (first rung of the court system). The Equality Act 2010 superseded and strengthened the rights of individuals. Perhaps people might include the above case when seeing a lawyer or the Commission for advice. I am not selling magnets or oils (!!), far less legal advice, now or at any time. |

| You may look up court cases in Marion county FL where the trial took place, but unfortunately it's hard to do that accurately without a case number or a name. No telling when anything was actually filed there, although the case ruling was Feb. 11, 2010. There are no details that I can find online about this case other than what most of us have already seen here. One way to learn more would be to pm dragonfly2 here in hopes of a reply directly from her. It might also be possible to contact Trisha S. who helped her or call the lawyer's office and see if anyone will share more general details.

| Dear Tcm, Thank you so much. It is the birthday of Her Majesty, so we Brits have a long weekend. I have been using the time to try and find out more about the wording of the specific legal aruments and the reasoning employed by the Judge. Trisha s., the expert nurse, would seem to have been approached by the Social Security Department to help them ascertain bona fide cases of Morgellons. Ergo, they must believe in this entity. Judge McClain seems to be an Administrative Law Judge, predominantly in such cases, but not usually in Florida. I think that he was previously an Attorney General. It would certainly be worth writing to such individuals within the repective states, as it is part of their remit to care about the health of their citizens. |
