Default I really don't know where to put this (sorry)-pregnancy and morgellons

hi everyone-i haven't posted here in ages but i have kind of a personal question to ask if anyone knows the answer...my husband and i have decided to start trying for a baby and i was wondering if anyone else has been through the experience of having morgellons and having a child. does morgellons get worse during pregnancy? better? i'm so scared of doing anything to hurt myself or my child...i know it's a question that some people may not want to answer, which i completely understand, but i'm just wondering if anyone else would be kind enough to let me know what their experiences are/were with morgellons and being pregnant.

also...no judgments please about my choice please. it's been hard enough trying to get to a point where i feel like i'm healthy enough to do something i wanted to do a long time ago and i can't put my life on hold any longer because i have morgellons. i've had morgellons since last april, which i know isn't nearly as long as some people, so within less than a year, i feel like it's gotten much better and i'm really excited about that. i do think that i'm getting better (i don't think i could take it if i'm wrong) all i really see now (knock on wood that it doesn't get any worse and continues to get better....) is the little blue things....i feel a bit tired sometimes, i still have a bit of a cough (i'm not coughing anything like i used to when i first got it, thank goodness), occasionally i have slight trouble breathing, and sometimes my stomach feels weird but other than that, i think i'm doing really well. i don't follow my diet nearly as strictly as i used to (i think taking all the vitamins, for me personally, might have been doing more harm than good...) but i could probably do with eating less sugar.

thanks in advance to anyone who shares their experiences with me, i really do appreciate it!

Default I had morg, unknowingly and had 2 kids

hi, hope your doing better. My opinion, and my belief, is that morgellons is just a blanket name for the gm agro that's in us. I believe its in our blood, our cells etc...
I believe i gave it to both of my children in the womb. My eldest has suffered his whole life, he is 17 now. But silly me was young and dumb, and never heard of morgellons, and trusted the medical community. He has had severe problems with his stomach at age 7, dismissed and given prescription pepcid, had nervous involuntary actions, like blinking his eyes, neck, twitching. He was diagnosed, at age 8 as having mild turrets syndrome, was prescribed an anti psychotic drug called risperdal. He has had allergies forever, given more meds, he finally at age 13 was so constipated that the x-ray showed that his bowels so backed up they were going into his stomach, and he was vomiting. He was overweight, had no energy, doing horrible in school, and broke down cying telling me he just wanted to die, he said he couldn't think, he could't sleep, he felt like he was going crazy, and my baby boy at 13 wanted to die!
I got pregnant again, still ignorant, and though I had my hair falling out and major itchy bumps on my face, I did feel something growing in my scalp, in the middle of my forehead. It didn't go full throttle till about 3 months after birth, and I was told I had post partum, and was given meds. I would watch my baby, and whenever he was tired, he would cry and cry, I believe its in our nervous system also, so when we relax, we feel it more, or at least stronger. So as I lay helpless for months, watching my newborn grow watching him pull on his ears, then at 4-5 months watch him push his head into his pillow to fall asleep, push his head into wall and fall asleep that way, he was trying to apply pressure where the movement was probably eating him alive. As he has grown, he would hit his head and in his eyes, grab my hand to push on his head so he can goto sleep. His immune system is so fragile, ear infections, 1 after the other, he broke out with open blisters, age 6 mo, all in his mouth, whenever ther's something going around he gets it. All the dr. did was put him on anti biotic after antibiotic, until he was was thin and violently throwing up, I turned to natural remedies, and have not been back to the hmo for about 2 years We eat healthy......I don't know if you already have children, but If I would have known I had this living hell, I believe I would not have ever had any kids. That is the hardest part of this evil.Thank GOD, we are all doing a million times better, not healed yet, but living, and laughing again. And enjoying one another. I don't want to scare you, I hope I am wrong, but all of this is just not coincidence, and their ailments are not a delusion.
Praying for you and your family, kc

I think I've had this for over a decade. Thought it was "just" insidious candida overgrowth, so I was on the C diet including herbs and homeopathics for most of that time... I had 3 fairly normal pregnancies, including twins, (was hospitalized for a time w/ them), natural births, long term breastfeeding, etc...

I chose to have my last child at home to avoid having to fight against Drs and nurses who seem to want to give people drugs at every opportunity...

The kids are more than ok, but I've had them on a wheat/dairy free, low sugar and no junk/processed food diet for most of their lives. Not easy in this day and age of child centered advertising. They've NEVER eaten kraft dinner or mickeyDs for instance, no fluoride, no vaxs, no sparkly lip gloss, the list is endless. Not the end of the world, but requiring much thought and hard work.

After all of that, I had an unplanned pregnancy last year which ended up being a nasty miscarriage with a placenta but no fetus... Was not so very emotionally traumatic as it might have been for me because I'd figured that I was done having my babies anyway, but if I'd been trying for a baby it would've been shattering.

I have no advice for you, just sharing some of my story... Hope it helps.
Best of luck to you in your journey.

thanks to both of you. kckc, thanks for talking to me on the phone last night about the pregnancy stuff. i really appreciated that

metis woman..im so so sorry you have this too. it's awful but i think that your plan is a good one regardless. junk food and sparkly makeup aren't really necessary anyway but i agree it's definitely hard to stay away from all this stuff in this day and age. that's awesome you have twins though! i'm a twin and i think it's fantastic (but i mightttt be a bit biased there!!). thank you for you for your sharing you story with me. i really appreciated it take care and bless you for trying to keep your children safe from this horrible disease.

Default How far along are you?

I have seen another woman that went thru a morgellons pregnancy, it seems to me her condition flared when she was 5 months on. She got alot better when it was over, the drain on her system is what ended it. She had the tell tale lesions and bad skin, the face cleared up very well after awhile. I would suggest getting a test for what your body is lacking, then the doctor can give you the correct supplament. Ladies maybe you can help here what is the best form of test for this, HAIR? I am sure there are articals about this on the internet. You will be ok, don't worry.
