| Hello everyone, I've had problems with getting a doctor to even take a look at samples I've collected. Does anyone know of any lab in the midwest (I live in Illinois), that will look at specimens not sent from a doctors office? I'm sure I would have to pay a lot to have them looked at, but I need some peace of mind. I'm having what looks like hair, pop up around the sinks, washer, dryer, etc., and part of me is thinking it's some type of mold or fungus. It pops up everywhere, including the fridge (ewww), and we are meticulous around here. There are what look like black specs, and I know this is where the "hair-like" things are coming from. Thanks |

| Hi Dwn2rth, How about contacting a mold specialist? They usually charge minimal to come to the home and then send samples to labs. This would be a great way to see if there is any identity to mold/fungus. Kritters |
