Hey Sky! I posted an extensive one to ya, but it went into cyberspace, so I'll try to re-group. From what I see in my scope, my black/white/gray specs are the bundled up 'fibers' and each one has a pointed end which they (I'm sure) stab us with and without our permission, thank you very much. They are the same no matter from where they are plucked. From the air, from your brush, from you anus, from your clothing. Whether it be mites, mosquitos, flies, ticks, sewer, water, air..... It's all the same. They have it...WE have it. I look at my computer in the sun. I look at the 'dust' on everything in the sun. the 'flecks' turn into the 'specks' (I think). Why do I think that? because I have NEVER seen such an amazing amount of 'flecks' pretending to be dust. Are they, "smart dust"? Could be. But they could also be pathogenic dust. You need a vacuum that doesn't put what you have sucked up back into the air. You know, it's funny...(not haha) I was thinking today about how in the old days people had dusters (forget what they're called) and women would go around their houses and use these feather dusters (THAT'S IT) and what they did was only lift the dust in one place only to settle into another!!! doh. That's what these vacuums do. Put your money into a good vacuum. Kritts

Real bird mites should only be around for a short time until they find a better host. If they've been around for months, odds are it maybe something else. ![]()

You are right, there are not a lot of answers. Not that I have seen anyway. A lot of speculation, but nothing concrete. There are a lot of very smart people on here looking for the answers and they may just come up with it someday. In the meantime I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I was reading if not posting to you. I have found help on here though. Thank God for caring people. Take care, DD

Hi Skylasrk, You are not being ignored. I don't think anyone has concrete answers to your questions. Most all of us are questioning, guessing, experimenting and sharing. However; you may find answers to your questions on Birdmites. org

| I have wood floors and tile, and I use those sweefers, they're not bad to trap the weird dust, another ally is the LINT roller! Those go QUICK! I have been thinking of an enzime cleaner to spray the ceiling and walls... suggestions? Oh and for two months I thought I had bird mites... until after a crawling, itching and pinpricking night and two exterminations later, I sent the black specks from my bed to an entomolgy laboratory... I could not believe the results.. even from the stuff I took from my body, the stuff that was "bitting"me... fabric pills and carbon, no bugs... After that, I paid more attention, used tea tree oil on my body only to see the "specks"coming out of it, lots of new f "freckles""Age spots"in my skin and then the fibers under my nails. Try tea tree oil on your feet, see what happens... Then I found this board and I feel comfort ( unless people are fighting about religion or politics- left or right- specially because I am a big time free spirited liberal- all else is fine). Though I like when Kritters say, "they are our ëntities" but I really feel more like I was abducted by aliens! Those freak creatures! Out my body NOW! | I am not a liberal and I don't give a flying fartola what your politics are but I will help you when I am able. You need to let go of all that mindset. We are human beings and everyone is either suffering or trying to help. Take your liberalism and park it elsewhere, NO one cares what you think, only what helps. |

Some of my black specks are now green specks. I wonder if it could be Bile ? But I also get green seedy pod like things? I coughed them up a few times and pulled a couple from lesions ! What type of parasite is green ?

Hi Jee~ I had acquired many new 'age' spots as well, since this began. One was beginning to form in the pink and raised stage and I attacked it with tea tree oil and it hardened to the point where I could scrape it off and it disappeared! Cool, huh? Kritts
