Will there be a true reason for thanks this November

With October quickly coming to a close, I was wondering if people think that the CDC will give us a reason to be thankful this November?

Part of me is saying don't hold my breath as well. To be honest if the numbers continue to grow like they are, I don't know how this could be ignored.

The number of people reporting morgellon symptoms is growing so fast it makes the head spin. I for one don't know how they can think that so many are DOP! Actually they probably already know more than they are telling the public. It is time for some action! DD

question? Is there a legit place to watch just how much it is growing. I have wondered about this as I see an increase in weird hair when out and about. Seems like the data is some what dated. If anyone can point me to new updated numbers that would be so much appreciated!

Maybe the MRF for numbers. OSU hasn't updated their website in years - still reporting 3,000!!

A lot of people won't or haven't registered on MRF. Mostly are afraid their privacy will compromised/violated. Some are in health professions and fear that their livelihood will be affected.

I say - register everywhere you can!!

Of course, many people who have this don't even know what it is. Everytime "String Theory" is shown on Discovery Health, or a big article comes out, etc, there's an uptick in registrations.

Of course, the CDC won't make this a reportable condition, despite the fact that it is spreading. Pretty obvious what their intentions are.

ya I hear ya Jin! I called and went to the CDC web site 3 -4 months back, they said ---they were going to Atlanta from Cali to investigate this further, I'm glad in a way they extended their investigation, and do this thing thoroughly, rather then a haphazard way, and I know it's been tough on all of us, better done right then wrong--wow I knew this site was big--just didn't know how big till 4 day's ago hey yáll

This site has grown from 600 back in early 2007 (when you were Bobbyjoe) to how many now? I remember when Jo joined this site and we were looking at 1,000 members.

I hope there is power in numbers!

I do know this for sure, that most of us members here on MDR are "morgellons" sufferers. Those who try to feed us BS don't last long. Even though we don't get along sometimes, we do come back to this site because we are the real thing here.

A joke: friends may come and friends may go, and friends will peter out you know. But friends we'll be through thick or thin, peter out or peter in.

I'm not counting on the CDC.
