totally random question about blood I've noticed that I don't bleed when i get cut, or scratched. I also know every time I get my blood drawn it's a total pain in the a$$ for the nurse. The needle has to be moved in and out and all around and pushed down, to get enough blood in the vial. At one point in time, I was on the phone and a mirror fell and broke in the other room, I did not see where it had landed so I walked into the room and as I walked, I rammed my foot right into a broken piece of the mirror down to the bone, it sliced the bottom of my foot wide open a good 3 to 4 inches. I ran into the bathroom so i wouldn't bleed on the floor but nothing much came, definitely no drips, just what you could see in the crevice of the deep cut. my friend showed up with bandages so i put my foot up in the sink and rinsed the cut out really good, the water was literally going into my foot and then down the drain. the next thing i know the sink is clogged. it worked fine before i rinsed my foot in it. it wouldn't unclog with a plunger, we had to get drano. I saw another thread where a guy said his sink is clogged, also from rinsing things down the drain. i really felt like whatever was in my foot or blood went down the drain and absorbed the muck inside. kind of like maybe it absorbed my blood when i got cut and that's why i don't bleed or maybe it's in my blood. i start thinking about how it's so hard to get the blood drawn and wandered if my blood is thick or something is blocking the hole of the needle when it's being drawn. i suck at science and don't have any microscopes or anything so I can only hypothesize the reasons the things that happen to me do. But the blood thing is giving me a bit of anxiety since I do know that my last 2 boyfriends died in there sleep, the one i was with for 10 years was only 28 and they said his heart valves were clogged 90% of the way. and if i do see a little bit of blood like on a kitty scratch or something if i wiped it with alcohol you would just see several little red specks, it's never liquid it's like little red things getting out. how would you get something like that checked. if i knew how to draw my own blood I probably would, lol. probably a good think that I can't. thanks for any input |
