Hi Terri, That is one of the first symptoms I probably had that should have told me something was wrong. My stomach seemed to swell up overnight. My pants were too tight just that suddenly. I am not sure what causes that. I didn't have the itching and biting at that time though. That came later. I wondered about it, but couldn't explain it. I still have what looks like a hernia or something in there. The darn thing gets in my way.
Oh, and I had an MRI that showed NOTHING in there. How weird is that? DD

That "bulge" is very common with Morgellons. Dr. Staninger says it is a collection of "plastic" in the fatty tissue.
I don't know...seems like that would be easy enough to verify...why isn't this PUBLISHED?? It sounds speculative and that ticks me off. I don't like those "proclamations" no matter WHO makes them, without proof.

Hi Terri & Diz,

I have that problem. I look a few months pregnant. In my whole life, even if I gained weight I never had a fat stomach. In fact, I'm overly obsessed about it at this point. All I can think of is that my intestines are infested. If it's fungi, I doubt a MRI would show anything (but I don't know) I'm thinking the infestation of fungi is attracting things and possibly inclusive of our immune system's white blood cells...so there is inflammation. In the book "Cancer is a Fungus" Dr. Simoncini says tumors contain fungi. Well, if this fungi is throughout our systems, the intestines are the primary organ system I would think which would contain it also.

Hey, what do I know? Just a guess until we find out....and I'm not holding my breath for any doctor to help.

Do these bulges ride a little high, like starting just beneath the sternum?
Two friends (males) with minimal symptoms both have that - looks like a small basketball in there.

Anybody ever see that show on Discovery Health about the woman who was "pregnant" for 46 years?

Try eating loads of Natural Live Yoghurt over a few days.
It works for me.

yep, my buldge is just above the belly button. Not quite like a basketball, a bit smaller than that, but very uncomfortable. DD
