What is going on??? Maybe I'm misunderstanding what this number means...is that the number of viewers reading from this board? Does it have anything to do with Conflicker???
If there are really that many individuals currently "tuned in" what does that mean??? Are these "hits" people who are afflicted with Morgellons, or like the hits that showed up on seektresse's site last year after the first Annual Morgellons Conference? NIH, DOD, various universities, oil companies, chemical companies, etc???
If all these people/agencies are watching, why is the silence so deafening?? No conspiraciy??? Gimme a break!!!

I don't know (Franky could tell us) but I think the yahoo googleslurp spider, the google adsense spider, etc. might be considered as a viewer. Looking up at the 'who's online' they are repeatedly listed as viewers as if they are members or guests. That's my bet.

I'm sure that is part of it, but could not possibly account for over 20,000. Each one of these ad bots accounts for one, and you can see them listed. Carla - help us!

That virus, "Conflicker", has infiltrated computers around the world, and they have just been sitting there, "awaiting instructions". It was supposed to kick in today, April 1st.

Isn't that PROOF of the magnitude of this thing??? Who ARE all these "people"? I didn't even know you could research the chat archives.
Something VERY big is suddenly happening...all this research for an imaginary disease! Cripe, there are only 14,000 registered families with the MRF.
The previous high count 8,000 about a year ago.

They may show up as 'one' but that 'one' is searching through hundreds or thousands of words in each post, so they might count as individual hits. I'm not a webmaster or computer wiz, so I don't know. It's just a thought.

I monitor that number all the time, and it has NEVER been anywhere near this. It is sometimes in the hundreds.
If what you are saying is true (I doubt it) then that number would always be in the thousands. It is NOT. The previous high was almost a year ago at 8,000 and that was considerably higher than any other time.
