That is a very informative website and spells out exactly what to take for which type of fungus. I'm keeping for reference and possible identification. What really 'ticks' me off is all the doctors who have looked at people's skin and dismissed obvious signs. What the heck do they read in medical school? This would be good ammunition for when we visit doctors' offices and they say they don't have a clue or it's 'nerves'. We can then say, for instance, "well, have you ever heard of dermatophytosis?"

The job of a doctor is a hard one, it needs to be done by people that like to slap theirselves on the back. I would make a good doctor as I can not stand to be stumped. If I saw more and more bad issues with skin, I would delve into it. If I saw the skin condition come with ill health I would consider a wide spread internal infection, needing every test done that is common and usual for positives. How can you prescribe antibiotics if you do not know what malady. I have now found a doctor that spends the time needed to talk and at least listen to me. She spends the time, not just rushing you in then out. It is too bad she can not write well!!!!!! I just found out my friend that has pancreous cancer has also been diagnosed LYMES, certainly he has. He is number 2 dying of pancreous cancer. These are my good friends, not acquitences, the list so far is, 2 pancreatic, one colon, two brain tumors, two breast cancer, 5 out of seven dead, from 28 years old to 50. Who is next!!!!

| Hey Barack, Thanks for the information. On page two of your link a product is mentioned for treating this condition called Whitfields Ointment. Interestingly enough those very same ingredients can be found in Listerine. Salicylic & Benzoic Acid. Early into this disease someone on Lymebusters was trying to convince me to use this on my scalp but I had no idea, at the time what I was up against "long term" and gave up thinking that this was another flash in the pan. Not so. Good stuff. ____________ Page 2 of your link. Treatment The usual approach to the management of dermatophyte infections is to treat with topical therapy if possible, but most nail and all hair infections and widespread dermatophytosis are best treated with oral drugs (Table 265-3). 33 The main topical agents used for dermatophytosis are the keratolytics and compounds with specific antifungal activity. The keratolytic agent used most frequently is WHITFIELDS OINTMENT (salicylic and benzoic acid compound). It is inexpensive but messy to use, although a cream formulation of benzoic acid compound is available in some countries. ____________________ Listerine Ingredients: Listerine® Antiseptic Mouthwash Ingredient Active Ingredients Equalyptol 0.092% Menthol 0.042% Methyl salicylate 0.060% Thymol 0.064% Inactive ingredients water, alcohol (26.9%), benzoic acid, poloxamer 407, sodium benzoate, caramel Listerine Toenail Fungus Treatment ___________________________ And if anyone cares, lysol spray does have the propensity to kill dermatopytes (foot fungus) on household surfaces. THE PERFECT FINISHING PRODUCT! - Lysol Disinfectant Spray Spring Waterfall Scent - Epinions.com Lysol’s Claim Lysol Disinfectant Spray is an EPA-registered disinfectant that kills many viruses, bacteria, mold and mildew on environmental surfaces in the home and in public places. | yeah, Morgan....I've recently noticed Lysterine is now marketed as a major white knight. I used to think it was bogus (not to mention that awful smell) but now it allllll comes together, doesn't it? The mask is now off because of the internet research. Why not just market our product now that 'THEY' know what we know what they didn't know until now when they know. So! Lysterine it is. On the scalp? Kritts |

Hey Dragonfly.... So glad you're still here. we were pm'ing each other wondering how you are...you and Nancy...and kinda dazed that you both disappeared. I wonder why it's the cuticles? Where exactly on the fingertips? Do they come out of a lesion? they look like worms to me. How's your face? xoxoxo Kritts

I am in the light right now, hey get some latex gloves and cover your hands heavy real heavy with desitin 40% zinc oxide leave them on over night and longer if you can, when you pull your hands out all the rot will come off, and maybe just maybe they will heal up from the 40$ ZINC and I think it is also in a fish oil base, it do not smell so pretty. The DESITIN 49% ZINC OXIDE is in the baby diaper area. Believe me the stuff works very well, with the gloves it will work even better as they will keep the hands hot, temperature or stopping their ability to breath may be the ticket. Who knows, Lets ask ex President Bush, I had to post it again, well there is one thing we got going for us, we won't never be as out of it, he has had it for a long time, ALHEMERS is his future, maybe he will also get the lesions.
