Terri - Yeah, that's a biggie. Although I hate doing this, I take a very small amount of Xanax and one tab of melatonin. I also always have the TV on when I go to bed and hope that I can find something to distract me. I set the sleep timer, but sometimes I wake up too early and turn it back on. It's the fear and anxiety about this that keeps me awake, but my routine seems to be working for the most part. Good luck. SS

Terrie even though I do not have Morgellons, I suffer from insomnia from time to time. I use the same things that I recommended to my friend that does have Morgellons and it seems to have helped him to various degrees. As stated before you can try melatonin (good stuff), it will help set your sleep clock in the long run. You also try valerian root, works very well for lots of people. Try some valerian tea half hour before sleeping. Also, give the old fashion warm milk a try if you have tried yet as well. ![]()

Here is some ideas on sleep, don't drink or eat caffine, NONE, get up at a very early time everyday in the morning, start right off with good workout that makes you swett. If you will not workout then skip it but it sets the clock for expiration in the evening that is for sure, you body will be on high all day long, then before you sleep take a nice hot shower and quickly get into bed, envision blackness with your mind, no, kids, dishes, money problems, dogs, sickness, nothing, see blackness. If you allow yourself to think, or watch a play, or listen to anything the mind is set for more. The old idea of counting sheep is to remove the mind from thinking of problems or ideas. Some people think of nature and water or somthing, I go to black emptyness. If you are getting the itching on the body or ears, the shower should help the body, but the ears may need somthing, start in the morning with GSE it may give you an earache but those will pass quickly and so will the itching burning ears. Up to three weeks to remove the ear aches and itching burning but it is limited to nothing now, keep up the GSE and it will stay nothing, just space treatments to 1 or 2 a week
