| This model was contracted a bacteria infection often found in hospitals, it seems she had little to combat it in her system. This sort of reminds me also of the FLESH EATING DISEASE we heard so much about at one time. The disease this young woman contracted was the same one that lives in our hospitals they say. Then again could it be that we harbor this bacteria inside us and it just so happens when attacked by antibiotics it morphs and can literally kill us as it did this woman. I really have to wonder with the pressure to be perfect and beautiful if this woman was taking steroids and antbiotics to keep her skin clear. hmmmmmmmmm Bet me!!!! Model loses fight for life as infection worsens | theage.com.au Last edited by Baraka Obam; January 24th, 2009 at 09:40 PM. |

| No bets! I agree with you Baraka. The last place I want to go for "better health" is a hospital. Antibiotic pharmaceuticals... they don't help in the long run and put more toxins in our body, which this "Morgellons" feed upon. Mariana Bridi da Costa (the model) was a beautiful young lady, prayers to her family. In the white light, ~jonsi

| If they havent actually learned to eat the antibiotics yet, the disease sure know how to respond after you stop taking them and do a bloom from hell. Keep using antibiotics all the time and when you need them they do not work, this is common knowledge even with doctors. Imagine this, doctors knowing this and still they precribe the synthetic immune system to everyone that will buy. I do hope that the magic bullet is found but it does not seem at this point to be the answer. Then if we actually find the cause of our bodys going haywire will it be to late as we are being fed antibiotics in the meat we eat and the doctor feeds us antibiotics like candy. Try this, try this, try this, I am tired of trying, 23 doctors, dermatolagists, specialist, money was going fast, they all did the exact same thing. If it could be cured by antibiotics you would have someone standing on the billion dollar box of drugs on TV right now, they are NOT so whats next, help me doctor help me is a cry that may as well been said to a beer bottle at this time. I have found the most help and comfort right here with Ya'll, thats sothern for everyone! I handed the specialist the other day a list of maladys and she commeneted it was rather large, but she said quite complete and she added a few more, not a complaint from HER she was just accomadating. I like women doctors they are just a better bunch and do not wear the almighty doctor chip on their shoulder. She did try to give me antibiotics already, but I told her I was afraid of them. | "....Brazilian stage of the Miss World pageant, had a generalised infection that forced the amputation of her hands and feet because the flow of oxygen to her limbs was reduced...." This seems to provide further evidence that oxygen is key in fighting disease. |

| Right and when will every hospital have a Hyperbaric unit available, very simple item made out of medium duty steel. Even the soft side home chamber with regular air works wonder. |

| It is a truly sad story, when I first heard of it, I was ill to my stomach. Not much more, I can say on it, but may her soul rest in peace and prayers to her loved ones. These antibiotic resistant strains are starting to become more and more common now. It is actually quite scary. |
