Default You can get better!!

I have been seeing a naturepath for 15 months, taking Cowden Protocol, enzymes and the minerals my body needed along with Salt & Vit C. I only occaisionally see spots and where lesions would pop up daily, it is now weekly and they are very large and old. So they are leaving my body. Hair is growing normal. Only occaisonally see fibers. Nails still have deep ridges but otherwise look normal. I am hoping that once all the lesions heal the scars will just pass of as having white freckles to those that don't know me. Scored 48 on 1st CD57 test, scored 75 this week!!! It takes time. For those of you with out resources the Vit C and Salt from Lymephotos also work wonders and there are lots of resorces for enzymes. I use Transformation Enzymes but have to be prescribed as to which to take. I have seen Logo Nutritionals has a line of enzymes just for Morgellons. I had green slime coming out with the lesions, colloidal silver has greatly helped. I take a jigger of Silver Mountain Minerals Ionic Bio Silver 240PPM and the liquid that runs from the lesions are more clear and not green or amber colored. Also be sure to take a probiotic when taking silver to keep everything in balance.

Default Finding practitioners to help with Morgellons symptoms

Back to topic please. There is a treatment section on the forum for posts listing treatments which have been tried successfully by individual members. This thread is about finding practitioners who might help those with Morgellons symptoms, so far mainly doctors although some posts deal with naturopaths and chiropractic care. Glad to hear you are having good luck with your naturopath...maybe you could ask if this person would like to be listed here (always best to check before listing names). Some natural practitioners and doctors already have websites and so probably would not mind being listed here, but some do mind being publicly associated with the Morgellons diagnosis.

Default Cd57

An MD has to order the CD8-CD57+Lymphs and must only go to Labcorp as they are the only folks that have it. I just scored 75 on the 2nd one and now the MD Dr wants me to have a blood transfusion or at least an Iron Infusion. Have not checked yet with the NaturePathic as I am afraid taking Iron will just feed them. This is where it gets tricky working with an MD who is not Lyme literate and rely on the ND and these boards to help steer in the right direction.

Bumping up this thread for lmamar (welcome to MDR) and any other interested newbies. I went to an infectious disease doctor and received some help with medication for viral infections. Doctors do sometimes look beyond antibiotics. Anyone who is trying a doctor for the first time the safest course is to discuss only symptoms. Stay away from the word Morgellons.

Default Dermatologist

I went to the Dermatologist today and mentioned the possibility of having Morgellons and he told me those people are psychological. He told me I have Neuralgia Paraseticus (sp?). I researched it and it does not describe my symptoms at all. Has anyone else been told they have Neuralgia Paraseticus?

Default A few lyme literate practitioners

Just adding a link here from a website which lists some lyme literate practitioners. Most of those listed are N.D.s or acupuncturists though there is also one doctor (MD) on this list:

gaianstudies.org/Lyme.html

Scroll about half way down to get to the list of practitioners.

Default Free and Low Cost Medical Care in US

Just adding this link from the financial help section for those who are looking for care but do not have health insurance:

needymeds.org/free_clinics.taf

There is more information listed under the financial section of the forum for those seeking additional help in the health area including how to get free or lower cost prescriptions.
