| (just realized you may think the store Target is implicated. IT'S NOT.) But can't change the title. should be "rejuvenating old commercials with their target") Maybe it's just me. Sorry about that. My mind tends to flit and I love that song. After an exhausting day my feet are up on a pillow on the coffeetable, laptop on my lap (where else?), pillow behind my back, tv on for first time in so long (Boston Legal) ....geee think I'm trying to escape? and two commercials made me blink. The first was for listerine. First of all, I don't remember seeing that commercial for a long time, but maybe it's just me. But I do know that they are pushing the product now with new keywords, such as eliminating plaque and bacteria, which of course caught my attention now that I know plaque IS bacteria. Never knew that before. Then came the commercial for Lysol. Oh, but now we have keywords including e-coli and now I can't even remember what other words caught my attention even though it was only 5 minutes ago. Since when was e-coli included in an anti-bacterial product? Hummmm. maybe since there were all these bogus e-coli outbreaks which attracted enough media attention and public concern for people to now see that catchy word and buy some products? Guess I'm just cynical. Maybe it's just me. Kritts Last edited by Kritters; April 30th, 2009 at 08:01 PM. Reason: love the song but the visual........ummm...... |

| Good song thanks Kritts. Its amazing how 'in tune' we get with any mention of bacterias etc. I think youre right, the marketing is geared towards the fear buzz words...'MRSA, E-Coli...etc.' Jo xxx |
