Default Dr. David Jernigan & Lyme disease and more

I don't know if I found this on the forum, but I was going through my links to review information and came across it. It's really a fabulous and informative article, discussing toxins, bacteriofages, ammonia, and so much more. It touches on what causes ordinarily symbiotic organisms to turn into killers, too. Also presence of the herpes virus along with Borrellia Burgdorferi. This guy is amazing, IMO.

Has it already been posted?

Thanks Kritts, hadnt read it before and learnt a few things.

I didn’t know that ammonia is the primary toxin released by Lyme bacteria, affecting the brain etc. !!! Makes sense for sufferers that report smelling ammonia on their skin hey.

Found this interesting - Bb releases ammonia, which is converted to glutamine by way of the glutamine synthetase pathways, leading to localized swelling of astrocytes (brain cells)...(Rocks..thinking of you here)

And the bit about "living or traveling in the mountains can aggravate Lyme-related symptoms." - Jonsi…do you feel any change when you come off the mountain???!

I'm going stop taking my L-arginine supplements due to this bit!! Research reveals that ammonia + arginine + manganese = increased nitric oxide (NO), up to 53% in astrocytes (brain cells), leading to increased brain swelling. Also L-arginine causes Herpes to replicate!! Doh.

I don’t know of anyone that’s done the NeuroAntitox II formulas - sounds good for Lyme-ammonia detoxification.

I'd like to try the Visual Contrast Test - I think its about not distinguishing between shades of grey. Richie Shoemaker uses it on his patients to test their levels of neurotoxins:
http://www.chronicneurotoxins.com/

Sounds like the amino-acid L-Lysine, found in legumes, and the mineral molybdenum, can dramatically aid in the detoxification. Didn’t know L-Lysine stops herpes virus from replicating??!! Or about Molybdenum for detoxifying the toxin aldehyde from the die-off of Candida-type yeast. One for your there Kritty??

I'm gonna buy some L-Lysine supplements.

What did you make of the pH balancing issue?

I know antibiotics can cause the release of neurotoxins when the lyme bacteria die - this was mentioned at the Lyme conference in April:
http://www.morgellons-disease-research.com/Morgellons-Message-Board/lyme-disease-treatment/3822-live-webcast-lyme-disease-autism-steaming-online-now.html

BUT I didn’t know that certain types could cause bacteriophages - gonna steer clear
of Levaquin, Cipro, Tequin, and Avelox,

This is a random blog I found which is good info on binding neurotoxins/scroll down till you get to the Supplements for getting rid of neurotoxins article -
http://lymebytes.blogspot.com/2008/0...ng-rid-of.html

Cheers Kritts for the heads up

Joey xxx

Yeah, this one 8 page report is IMO amazing as it addresses so much.

Here's a thought.... I'm going to email GOD to ask why we have to go through all of this to figure out how to stay healthy and alive.

Its a good article for sure and I thought worth posting the main gems as may come in handy.

It's interesting that L-arginine is meant to help shift ammonia out of the body, but may contribute to herpes replication.

I've never read up about bacteriophages until today. Very abundant in sea water. This is interesting:

"They have been used for over 60 years as an alternative to antibiotics in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.[4] They are seen as a possible therapy against multi drug resistant strains of many bacteria.

In August, 2006 the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved using bacteriophages on cheese to kill the Listeria monocytogenes bacteria, giving them GRAS status (Generally Recognized As Safe).[7] In July 2007, the same bacteriophages were approved for use on all food products"

Bacteriophage - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Seems a weird concept to use a virus to kill bacteria to me.

BTW, how come you've got God's email address?? Way to go!

Oh, shoot, Jo! I let that slip out! I'd tell you, but then...I'd have to .....

LOL

I'm going to do some searching for bacteriophages. Yep, I agree that it seems weird to use a virus to kill a bacterium also, but this goes along with one of my theories regarding viruses, details of which I'll spare you. It seems the virus is a free agent of sorts since it has no dna of its own. It could be employed as a mercenary or an angel..or it could act on its own.. it's an enigma.
There's just so much we don't know about this stuff.

Post Dr Jernigan

Dear Kritts and Jo:

Just a quit note: I used Jernigan's Boreligan and Virogen 8 years ago.Sorry if I mispell, tired.l For the Lyme, these products made me feel cured, so I eventually quit. And his products became harder and harder to locate. That was years ago. Also, Lisine Plus is a dynamite cure for Herpes, especially the kind that you can come in contact with anytime at a supermarket, etc. I also used it when I had shingles symtoms. Let me know if you need more info on that. I would assume if it works on shingles and stop that in it's tracks, it has far-reaching help for all with these problems. The creme, with same name causes cold sores to vanish: 3 a day and the anti-onxi's help alot. Sorry I am not around much to help you all, but I love you so much. Hope this helps.
Blessings,
Faithxoxoxo

Hello all,

As I posted in the Introduce Yourself forum.

I am brand new to this forum. I found it while searching on google for more
info. about Dr. David Jernigan and lyme.

It was once thought 22 years ago that I had lyme, since then the diagnosis has changed many times over the years and only the symptoms have been addressed as all the many, many doctors (whom I know are doing their best) cannot come up with why or the actual cause of all my symptoms.

Dr. Jernigan, from what I have read at other forums and their info seems to know this.

Thus, I was suggested to read his new 2nd edition Lyme book as it addresses more than just treating lyme.
I found it only at beatinglymedisease blogspot Beating Lyme Disease 2nd Edition by Dr. David Jernigan and their home page for Hansa Center.

Anyway, am just starting to read it. Had already read the first lyme book.

Does anyone here have further experience using Dr. Jernigan?

Thanks,

Namaste22
