Installing Language Packs

Hey guys, how is everyone?

I just wanted to give a word of caution. We have a member (it's now showing them as a "guest" but the members name was defg556, and the language packs are "chinese simplified") who is posting in a foreign language and to read their posts you have to load "language packs".

I noticed that in each of these posts there are sentences written in english, and then there will be places highlighted for you to click on. When you click on one of these highlights it will ask you to load the particular language pack for that post.

I have been told that you can get some pretty bad viruses from downloading these language packs.

I guess my problem is this, if they can post one sentence in our native tongue, english, then why don't they do the whole post that way instead of putting links in the unreadable posts requiring us to download a launguage pack.

If you can't speak English, then is it not possible for the person posting to use somekind of translation software?
