| I guess I am just hoping that someone here has some information about the scarring. I have terrible scars, can't wear any of the clothes I used to wear, it's horrible, people do stare. I'm not so sure I wouldn't notice it myself. I was wondering if there might be some kind of alternative treatment for skin that helps fade them? TCM, do you have any ideas? I was told that only plastic surgery would be helpful. I hope someone knows something that will work, I have a daughter getting married soon, and I don't want to dress like an old person that lives in a cold climate. I hope to get some suggestions. I also hope that all are well. Niecy ![]() xoxoxo

| Hey Niecy, I just emailed you. weird, huh? My left arm was really scarred but now looks pretty okay except for some whiter areas, not too noticable. Could be the h2o2 and vitamin C, but I don't know. I know the dermatologist (good for something anyway) can do a laser-type thing for scarring and dark spots. Or dermabrasion. xoxo Kritts |

| Hi Niecy, Kritts gave you some good ideas and leads for treatments. Another suggestion is to go to the drug store and buy some of the treatments which are used by plastic surgeons to help remove scars. There is a cream to help remove scars. Here's their site, but this is found in pharmacies: MEDERMA ® Skin Care for SCARS ™ I have also seen silicon sheets which you put on the area to gradually help the scar tissue improve. I know this is a touchy area for Morgellons folks, but am posting the information, as some may worry more about scars than silicon. There is at least one brand (sorry don't remember the name, but should be found in areas which stock the mederma cream) found in pharmacies. Also there are a lot of online site which sell these types of treatments. The silicon sheets are used to help heal scars from plastic surgery. There is something called Scargo which is an Edgar Cayce formulation for scars, though results can vary according to the literature. Home Health Scargo Scar Mass Lotion -- 4 fl oz - Vitacost This is an oil to apply after using curaderm bec 5 (herbal cancer salve) to help any possible scaring: What is Curaphyllum? Here is an oil used to fad scars (among other uses): Curacare.com How satisfactory any results will be most likely will vary. Scar treatment is one of the truly overlooked areas of morgellons treatment. Many become isolated because just as is leprosy this is a disease which disfigures the skin, often promotes stars and idle questions from totally ignorant strangers. So I keep praying more people will pay attention to this disease and find answers which work before all this happens to yet another innocent person. Good luck Niecy if you try any of these. tcmxxx |

| I found another product, an essential oil, which may be used to heal scars: Scars No More, 11ml - Forces of Nature Contains the essential oil helichrysum, but think it also may have other oils as it is called a formula. Unfortunately there is no ingredient list. I know that helichrysum can be purchased at other places as a single oil. Young living, a MML unfortunately, sells a good helichrysum oil. There are other companies as well I am sure. Here's a page on this site which has soaps for various skin problems: Forces of Nature They also have other essential oil formulas for skin conditions. Hope this helps Niecy. I will keep looking and if I find anything else I will post it. I know this is a "sore" subject for a lot of us. If we can heal our skin in any way, it will make us feel better. |
