I may return in five minutes or five months or not at all. I don't know. I reserve the right to make that choice without being labeled 'nuts'.

I'm growing very weary of things happening in this forum and don't want to come off as a nasty person. I'll tell you why.

NO ONE KNOWS WHAT MORGELLONS IS and it seem that some people have steadfastly claimed ownership of the name 'Morgellons' to their own particular situation.

I personally believe that people with different situations have been attracted to this forum because of their own particular symptoms, which by googling, have found it. I've posted 'til blue in the fingers that WE DON'T ALL HAVE THE SAME SITUATION OR SYMPTOMS.

I'm tired of it.

I'm also tired of new people coming here without reading through the relative posts since the inception of this forum before boldly exclaiming they think it's this or it isn't that.

I have numerously posted my thoughts, suspicions, theories based on all the information I have found through my internet research that may either be connected or causative. I never once have said, "THIS IS WHAT MORGELLONS IS". Why? because I do not know.

AND NEITHER DOES ANYONE ELSE HERE ON THIS FORUM KNOW WHAT IT IS OR WHAT IT ISN'T.

Seems to me it's becoming a lot like religion here. People are claiming to know the truth. I'm tired of that also. I'm tired of people pushing their religious beliefs on others.

Lesions have been manifesting diseases for centuries. It's just now because of the internet that this information is coming out. There could be many, many, many, many causes and diseases, each one separate from the next which are coming under the all encompassing heading, "Morgellons" because for the first time laypersons without degrees in science are smart enough and curious enough to take it upon themselves to prove the medical profession incompetent regarding these symptoms.

I'm finding some major camp divisions coming into this forum. I'm finding people chastizing others because they are so sure they have it down. I'm finding it repetitive and fruitless. I'm finding egos are beginning to rule and I'm finding we still aren't privy to what Morgellons is.

I'll probably just keep researching and posting when I regroup, but if I do, I want you all to know that I'm searching for whatever I can find that is related to this disease which is NOT the same for everyone.

We have a lot of work to do. If one person believes their truth of what this thing "Morgellons" is, I really hope they just keep on researching to prove it. If not, I really hope they will stop claiming to know the truth when in fact they absolutely do not. I really hope people will say what they THINK is Morgellons FOR THEM.

Sorry to be a ***** in this happy little family of ours, but we have to have open minds until the very last nano-second when it is announced for sure what the fibers and lesions of 'MORGELLONS' are.

I hope that I wasn't one of the people you were talking about...if so, I am sorry if I came across as sounding like I know what this is. (Referring to my post about the Meth theory). I was trying to offer up what little IS known about this nightmare. There ARE some things that have been established by scientists. It is precious little, but it is enough to say that it is NOT DOP or Meth lesions.
Granted, not everyone has all of the symptoms, but there are some core signs and symptoms that are characteristic....but they still don't say what it IS - only some things about it, and what it is not.
I agree with you about how some people can get so convinced of their theories that they even get argumentative, hostile, and at times insulting! That very thing was going on on another board so bad that I quit.
I haven't noticed that here...maybe I'm missing something? In fact, considering how many members there are and how busy this forum is, I'm amazed at how well people get along!
I hope you don't stay away long - I enjoy your posts.

I'm still here for the night anyway. I'm not singling any one person out. 'getting along' is a relative perception. We've had some hurricanes here and we've survived.

okay... first of all.... 'established by scientists' ???? until those scientists come up with the concrete answer, those some things which were established are not enough and also are inconclusive. Yes, it is precious little and no, it's not enough to say it is NOT METH LESIONS. In saying it is not meth lesions is more than precious little, because they do not know if the lesions manifested by meth users are also the same as lesions manifested by Morgellons sufferers. THEY DO NOT KNOW ENOUGH TO MAKE ANY CLAIMS.

This is my point. And of course it is NOT DOP! OF COURSE IT IS NOT!!!! That is the ONLY valid piece of information the scientific community has presented. Talk about lame!

It is with deep regret to inform you that Jonsi's grandmother passed away recently from cancer. She was 97 years old.

Her grandmother's sister passed away two weeks previous to her. She was in her 90's also.

Her grandmother was buried this past Monday.

Jonsi is having computer problems and has not been able to log on to the forum.

She hopes to have the computer issue resolved soon.

She's been reading alot of fun novels in her downtime.


She misses you all and hopes to talk with you soon.

Kritts, I hope I havent offended you or anyone with my posts. If I did I didnt mean to. I would never berate anyone, no matter what they say. I beleive in love and understanding. We are all different but under the same roof of illness.

I have felt the camps seperating. personally, I have not talked to anyone, I just see and feel. I know there are people dissing others and think its very juvenile. But who hasnt gotten like that? We all do, maybe for a second maybe enough to get others to hate someone.

I find it so hurtful that someone would attack another. And the fact we have this awful illness. Whos tos say one of us is not suicidal? Ill admit I have had my ideas but am too smart and caring to do that to my kids.

I havent called anyone lately, Ive been sick, depressed, cant go in my living room to get a phone call either . Maddening! If I havent called its not because I have taken a side.

There are no sides with me. I love all of you whether you like it or not. I dont care.

Im neutral. I dont care about politicas or religion. Although I respect people who do. People have the right to say how they feel. Even if it hurts me or you. its sad that people are like that.
