| It is interesting that in the UK the sufferers on this site are spread randomley around the country about as far from each other as we could be, whereas in the States it does seem that there are clusters of sufferers....is there any significence in this I wonder... Milly x |

| I wonder. I think I got morgs from two possible sources.....a cuban flea....or a friend that did business in Houston Tx in the 1970s and 80s. Maybe both!! Surprised that there arent more stories coming from London, as so many people live there from all over the world. Someone mentioned on a random blog last week that some celebrities have morgs but are keeping quiet! Jo xx |

| Milly, I think I may have gotten Morges from Florida, while vacationing there in 2005. Quote:

| The "Geography of Morgellons" unceasingly puzzles me. Would be very interesting to see a distribution map in the UK, Netherlands, and Japan. On one hand many of us report exposure to something(?) triggering our symptoms. I thought one credible theorist mentioned exposure to marine environments. Now the US Distb. map could support a correlation. Most of the European countries mentioned are marine in nature, as well as very industrialized. Now I am sure some of you across the pond are inland. However, still think we can classify these areas as "marine", due to land size and proximinty to seas. We've also heard from Wymore and others that our genes remain part of the root cause. In the States, ethnicities often settled historically in a "salad bowl" type distribution We know in California there was a major migration of Portuguese settlers in the mid 1800's. Yet we see this syndrome present in several heritages (from what I can tell). My mother's side is adopted; so I for certain couldn't begin to tell you exactly where I came from ??? Someday we'll know what this all means. |

| Here is a little food for thought...some statistics from the U.S. This is information collected from the CDC. It is called the National Notifiable Disease Surveillance System. http://www.cdc.gov/ncphi/disss/nndss/nndsshis.htm On this link you can click in any year...and there is even a feature if you poke around enough where you can look state by state.. http://wonder.cdc.gov/mmwr/mmwrmorb.asp Justice |

| Milly thats a very good point you bring up. I noticed that too and have wondered why is it, that most morgellons cases from the US seem to come from those certain areas. I have trying to figure out what are the common signs in the various areas. I am planing soon to hire a researcher to come up with facts like this for us. |

| There have to be common denominators. With the way people travel, no disease could be contained in a few areas. So here's one focus based on a very informative and provocative link provided by Tara: Their ordeal over the past eight years since 1991 has convinced them that certain sections of the U.S. government, working with what might be called the "eugenics elite" at the country's top research labs in the fields of biochemistry and genetic engineering, are testing new designer biologic agents on the American public, starting with prisoners and military personnel. http://www.patriotfiles.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=29674 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...s_Marine_Corps It's a start. I think we should leave no thoughts unexamined, no matter how improbable they seem. Kritts |

| Milly, in the UK are those reporting symptoms near military bases or biotech firms? Or in rural locations? I suppose even if inland in UK you could all be considered fairly close to the ocean no matter where you are, but is there a pattern where most are within so many kilometers of the ocean or sea? Are there many immigrants from areas which have parasites which are normally not found in the northern hemisphere? In the US people reporting symptoms seem to be concentrated in areas which have military bases, biotech firms, rural areas where food is grown and cattle raised (parasites, gmo), proximity to oceans for many (though not all), and the three main states have some large representations of illegal and legal immigrants from areas which are known to have different parasites than were formerly found in the northern hemisphere. All questions for which there are no easy answers and these observations could just be coincidence.

| You know Kritters, I was just talking to my friend on the way to go have all my bloodwork done(new Morgellons doctor for me My brother has been into drugs for over twenty years, and because of that he has been incarcerated several times. He has been in the state penitentiary for a year now. He called me today and said that both of his elbows were huge sores. He has had sores eversince he left for prison, starting in the county jail. Also, I found a post or an article a while back that told that Maxwell Airforce Base in Alabama is where the testing for most of the bacterias that are being sprayed on our agriculture is performed. My husband, my son, and myself stayed there, on base for the weekend. That was the spring of 2004, I broke out in August of 2005. Just food for thought.
