Default computer freeze

Has anyone else experienced their computer freezing when moving the mouse around?

It never happens in any other application in my computer except here. I move my mouse and I lose the mouse, then I have to shut down and begin again.

I know Morgellons is prolific and invasive, but, hello you stupid Morgs thingie.....

A computer mouse is NOT the same thing as a field mouse, okay? Didn't your mouse mama ever tell you that?

I used to get that all the time. Never found it specific to this application though.

It could a lot of things. Most commonly for me, it was like dust or "creeping crud" gets stuck on the wheels of the mouse. Often from the mouse pad, or gunk on the table.

My way around that was the LED mouse. They used to be expensive. Now they're very cheap.

Next maybe it's your RAM. Don't know if you're using a laptop or a desktop. Most importantly, a lot of the applications eat up RAM if running in tandem. Didn't think this was very heavy on RAM. Maybe something else is running in tandem with this.

Well, weren't there some hacking problems here just recently? Maybe there are still bugs left here from whatever was going on. Yeah, I know, as if we don't already have enough bugs.

kritters one thing I know for a fact is this. I tested it on a idea and it proved right. When the shout box is too active my screen and pc would freeze too. The problem was to many people use the shout box as a chat, when it was really made for shout outs really. When people use it to chat it has to refresh to much and causes the problem.

I know the chat system right now sucks big time. I was thinking of buying some of the new cooler more functional chat programs out there.

They also have instant messaging available. Would people be interested in that as well?

Franky,

I really like the shout box. I feel like I've gotten to know some really cool people here by being able to shout back and forth. And, it is easy to jump in and join the conversation.

I usually have to reconnect my broadband connection when "shouting", but I don't really mind doing so. The small inconvenience is worth the time (gives us time to go get another cup of coffee...)
